Totally Worth It
I love this product! We had a problem with our washer and the house plumbing when we first moved in; the drainage pipe the led to the sewage wouldn’t drain properly so the water from the washer would back up the pipe and all over our laundry room. This bad boy here saved me God knows how much money. It’s been about 4 months and it’s still holding strong. It’s definitely serving his purpose and I would 100% buy this again.

it is actually 2 1/4" across on big end
i had to add 2 layers of 1/8" rubber cork to existing 2" threaded since it was actually 1 7/8" across

Worked great but check local building code before purchase.
Whilst these adapters performed adequately to my expectations they unfortunately do not meet Illinois bulding code. I had them installed and everything seemed to be working just fine. That is until the plumbing inspector visited and told me that they have the potential to rot over time and are therefore excluded in the building code. Maybe I should have checked before purchase but they seemed fine to me and certainly did the job whilst they were installed.
