helped overcome eating difficulties
We tried spoon feeding with different spoon types as well as several baby-led weaning approaches for several weeks, but could not get our baby to accept more than a bite of solid food. Upon first use of this, our baby easily grasped the handle and bit the silicone tip. Although he grimaced upon tasting the food, he liked chewing on the tip and continued putting the feeder into his mouth and swallowing food. These have really helped him begin accepting food, and they're easy enough to wash that we can use the same set 3x per day. Some other notes:- The nipple holds about 1.5 tbsp. I wish it held a little more (like 2 tbsp).- When baby "finishes" the contents, there is usually still ~1 tsp left in feeder. I usually unscrew the top and feed the remainder with a spoon, though I wish I didn't have to do this.- I was choosing between this and the boon feeder, but opted for this one since it screws on/off rather than pops on/off and our baby can take caps off things easily that aren't screw-top.- The silicone did stain a bit with papaya (as I expected based on other reviews), although the discoloration has faded over multiple washes.- The silicone nipple sits a bit loosely in the collar when unscrewed from handle. When screwed together, everything fits well, but this is different than most baby bottles where the nipple is seated tightly in the collar before screwing the bottom on.All and all, I'm really thankful that this helped my baby overcome eating difficulties. Although there are some minor issues mentioned above, they are pretty minor.

Easy to clean, easy to feed
My five month old isn’t quite sitting unsupported but does well in a high chair and was cleared at four months old by our ped to start puréed solids. We ultimately want to do BLW at six months old but have been using this to introduce different flavors and allergens without worrying about the purée process. It’s a little tough to hang on to for babes who don’t yet have a ton of coordination, but it’s great once they get the hang of it. Easy to open, easy to fill, easy to clean, super portable with the cap, and has been super durable so far. Overall, great value for money…another Dr. Brown’s superstar! Our babe’s current fave food with it—filled with strawberries and dipped in yogurt :)

Perfect for trying solids!
I love this for my baby! Perfect for introducing new foods easily, and safely. It squeezes out the holes just enough to want to keep trying more, but not an overwhelming amount at a time. Easy to hold & easy to get food out. Also very easy to store, load, & prep for later & to clean. I love the rubber for the little baby gums to soothe too. Not hard or aggressive. The shape holds up well- unlike other types of feeders I’ve tried that are mesh and get soft and just flop all over and are hard for the babies to actually eat. Minimal mess with this one as well. Love that it has a lid to close up and store for later. No complaints with this product! Easy to help them feed & they can hold on their own too.

Gourmet Feeder? My Baby Says, ‘Nah, I’m Good!’
I had high hopes for Dr. Brown's Fresh First Silicone Feeder—mint and grey, sleek design, and perfect for introducing new textures to my little foodie. Or so I thought. My kid took one look (and one nibble) and decided it wasn’t on the menu. The feeder itself is well-made, easy to clean, and feels super safe for tiny hands, but alas, it’s been banished to the "never-used baby gear" pile.Pros: Great design, soft silicone, easy to clean.Cons: It’s only great if your baby approves. If your kid loves trying new things, this could be a win. Just not for my picky eater!

Great for a teething baby
The media could not be loaded. Great design, big enough holes for food to come through but not be a joking hazard. I like the safety of it, there are no small parts. Great for teething babies or introducing foods. Makes for a great baby shower gift as well.

Lovelyyyyyyyy/perfect for teething.
We use this every day and we love it. It’s PERFECT for teething. Put the fruit/berries inside and freeze for about 5 min. My 8 month old love eating this on his own. He makes a bit mess but so worth it lol ! EASY to clean the mesh.
