This album is a masterpiece. Truly sick and hopeless. I've been in those depths and this album was there.

Well, the cover is edgy and cool. It has that going for it. The lead singer is a cutter and some of the band-members ape Slipknot in wearing silly masks. You know, it really does leak into the music too. It's just weak-willed, self-centered, depressing stuff. I listen to a lot of funeral doom and some suicidal depressive black metal, but this is just soul-starving, submissive, novelty music. I gave it three-stars because the band is certainly talented and the production is decent, but it's an ultimately empty experience.

five wouldn't describe DSBM well. love the album. had it playing in my car during a funeral procession, A pastor was ahead of me and rammed into the back of my brother going less than ten miles an hour. I thought only catholics did that,
