Gets blades sharp.
This is a good sharpener. If you're used to the original Smith's black plastic one, this is different, in that it has ceramic rods instead of plates. The stainless steel frame gives it real strength/durability/heft. The G10 along with the tungsten glass breaker tip makes it a must carry EDC item. Where the diamond hone rod hinges/attaches is still plastic like the original but is very sturdy. The pocket clip is very tight & I wish they would have placed it on the other end.

Skeptical At First
I'm Used to Having The 3 or 4 Stone Sharpening Kit, But After Using This Smith Stone Set-Up, I'm Convinced That This Type of Sharpening Kit Will Definitely Take Care of All My Knife Needs!!

The one plastic bit immediately broke.
Quick and portable sharpener. Gives you a decent edge, quickly. The diamond rod is screwed into a plastic mounting. The plastic cracked apart on the 3rd use, and the rod fell out.

Es bueno para lo que es; sacar filo rápidamente, no va a sacar un filo profesional pero para un filo al instante para el campo está bien, los materiales son buenos, de Calidad y que tenga rompe cristales lo veo excelente
