Great fitment
Great fit, dash looking new again.

Good replacement
Purchased these for my 2009 GMC Sierra 1500. I don't know what other reviewers were expecting, I read some stating "they're not the same material." The OEM plug covers are made of plastic, just like these. Took me 2 minutes to install. Honestly can't tell the difference. Even if one of these brakes, they're so inexpensive to replace, it's not a big deal.

Consider spending another $10 and getting a pre-assembled unit
My advice: Be prepared to destroy the old piece in order to get it out. I tried to push in the little clips on the rim but they wouldn’t budge. I ended up breaking the old piece in order to slide it out. Then insert the new piece into the dash panel piece prior to inserting the original power socket. Into the new piece. That is all.
