Easy to sit down on and get up out of ,quite high. I bought it for the height as my back was giving me grief and getting out of a soft furnished ,low couch was a struggle. It is comfortable for long periods watching tv so I am pleased.

Sometimes care needs come at you fast! It was great to be able to buy this 'off the shelf', rather than waiting for it to be made, without additional cost. I chose a timed delivery for just £10 extra.It is solidly built without being overly heavy, so it's easy to move - once it's out of its huge box! The sturdy arms aid standing. An additional pressure relief seat cushion is available from the manufacturer. Contact them directly.This example is sized for a taller person and you should check measurements before buying. Also consider whether the shoulder height seat back offers enough support or if you need a higher back to support the head.

We bought this chair to improve my husband's general comfort and quality of life. It's proved to be everything we hoped for. A great looking chair too.
