iLIVING Exhaust Fan Thermospeed Temperature Controller and Speed Controller, Black, ILG8SFST

Ok so firstly i got a 16" shutter fan and the brands remote control fan soeed controller.It was an absolite joke, the controller didnt react to the remote die to really really bad programming of the software, it was random as to if it would work or not. And only 3 speess where it promises adjuatement. It was a horrible product. Ive used a third party alrlternative digital controller but wished for lower speeds and couldnt trust it to be safe at those low speeds the fan was getting hot.Now i wish amazon had just offered this up to date version firstly. This model hits very low speeds and keeps the fan motor happy, and my ears/sanity intact.Theres a 4second power burst at the start to stop burnout at low speeds (much healthier design).I havent tried the temperature controller yet but so far this seems like an excellent product.They should remove the old version from market. Its very bad and not suitable for its intended use.I would have prefered an inline plug with a cable as it allows for more useful placement.the socket seems .. functional but not convenient. Nothing an extension cord cant fix.But another cost for me.

Works as it should. I have had it for over a month and it starts and stops my attic fan as it should.

This temperature controller only worked a little while, less than an hour. It has not worked since. We thought it was just because the weather was still unseasonably cold in May for our area. When the days got hotter, we realized the temperature controller was not working at all. We have to still manually turn the exhaust fan on before it will work.

I only needed the thermostat, but the speed control is a definite plus. It's capacitor/volt control, so you can only slow to about half speed.

Use this in a shop attached to my house; controls a fan to keep it from getting too hot. Works great. Been running in warm weather for the past year. Haven’t had a bit of trouble. No regrets.

Thermostat works as it should for controlling the exhaust fan in my chicken coop. The first unit we had that came with our fan lasted about a year so we'll see if this one lasts any longer. Comes on and kicks off at the temperature set. It's plugged right i to the wall and had our fan running again to keep our chickens cool

I bought a louvered fan 9 months ago and it came with a controller exactly like this one. However I misplaced it so I ordered a new one. Lo and behold I found the original and if this one works as great as that one did it's a fantastic thermostat fan switch

I have now bought several of these one for my greenhouse and two for my man cave building. They work great easy to install one I’ve had for three years now for the greenhouse still working great.

Works great! For years my garage exhaust fan was useless, with this thermostat and adjustable speed controller, magic!Works with my iLIVING fan that is rated for "Speed Controllable", had another "Single speed" fan, did not work with that one.Make sure your fan is rated "Speed Controllable", preferable a iLIVING fan.We have two adjustable shutters in our garage door for proper airflow.

Temp control seems to be accurate within 3 degrees F.Fan speed control is disproportionate compared to the dial settings. This didn't bother me as I bought it for the temp control paired with an exhaust fan.

Perfect for controlling my greenhouse fan! Works great.

Positive:1. It works, especially at high temperatures, no vibrations from regulator body.2. I like how it starts engine with small delay and pushing it to the max settings before lowering speed to the desired value.3. Precise thermostat, at least so far.4. Quiet speed regulator - my engine doesn't make so much noise with this speed regulator as it did with another one.I have no negatives, only some wishes:1. I wish it has temperature marked in C as well, however it is not important in my application (once set, never changed)2. I wish it has Tuya like wifi control - it cost pennies to implement it.
