Put the WOW back in his Meow!
After just two days of being on this, my cat's fur turned to silk! . He has more energy and is more playful than sleepy & drinking more water than usual. Easiest to sprinkle this on dry food in a separate bowl and swish it around a bit to cover every single kibble. No problem with him eating it. Highly recommended.

Great supplement
I have been giving my two boys this since July 2024. After a few days I noticed a big change in their overall behaviors. Both are sweet and loving but were quite honestly, lazy. They began to play and run around like they did as kittens. Their overall health has improved also; not that they were sickly to start with. The cost is fair considering what it does and I want them as healthy as possible. I bet the same people complaining about the cost will drop $16 at Mikki Dees for one meal...this will treat my 2 boys for a month! For the benefits they receive I will not be without it. Highly suggested for your fur babies. I mix 1 scoop with wet food and add a splash of warm water, as they can never get too much water. Stir and serve.

cats eat it, no problems
seems fine. There's green tea in this, which seems odd- if your cat begins to run around like a teenager, might it be from the caffeine? (though low) But it's supposed to be helpful, so I'll update this review if needed after a few weeks)

I Was Skeptical At First
Itโs been a month now since Iโve been mixing this powder supplement in a 13-14 year old cat. When she was dropped on my doorstep, her coat was dull and bland. Her gait was noticeably stiff with her rear legs dragging. The reviews I read here were very helpful. I did many hours of research and experimenting with different foods. Now I can see a definite improvement in her gait and range of motion since she has been eating the Life Extension Cat Mix. Her coat has improved a lot. You can now see different shades and stripes on her coat. Her face looks fresh and alert. Sheโs stretching more often and grooms thoroughly. I also introduced Cosequin Joint Health that I found on the Chewy site. Together, these products have made a visible difference. Mixing these supplements in the cat food did not interfere with her appetite. These were inexpensive remedies that, according to the reviews, and to my experience really worked despite being skeptical at first.

Saved my cat's life, stoped seizures.
I am very surprised to find that there are no rewiews or information about this product helping with seizures. My previously healthy 7 year old mainecoon/tabby mix started exhibiting very strange behavior, walking around confused (as though trying to find something), crying profusely and drooling. Initially I though that he may have ingested some toxins as he was also vomiting more than he usually does. About 3 or 4 days after the initial symptoms started, he collapsed into a grand mal seizure which lasted about 45 seconds (one of the scariest and most heart wrenching things I have ever seen). We immediately took him to the emergency room where after observations we were told that the cause of the seizures was unknown and that those initial episodes of drooling were actually petit mal seizures. We were told that he would require CT scans as well as a follow up with a neurologist, all costing around $5,000. We were also advised that because he would need to be put under anesthesia to perform the tests, there were many risks involved. Being in a position where I was unable to afford the $5,000 for diagnostic tests, the only thing I could do was take my kitty home and search for an alternative. He was given a prescription for Keppra which I had to mix with his food 3 times a day. Unfortunately he continued to have the petit mal seizures continuously throughout the day even while on the medication, up to 8 per day, each time losing control of his bladder and becoming more and more distressed after each episode. In addition to the seizures he was displaying numerous negative side effects from the medication. I was aware of the dangers of stopping it completely, so I was hoping to wean him off while giving him a natural alternative. I found some natural drops that were said to help animals with seizures, they did not stop the seizures but did help to keep him calm. I eventually came across some articles which mentioned that taurine deficiency could cause seizures in cats. I immediately did some research to find a supplement containing taurine and ordered the Life extension Cat Mix. I mixed a dose with his food in the evening as soon as it arrived, he had a few bites of food and had a petit mal seizure shortly after (not because of the supplement but because he was just having them so frequently at that point) after that seizure he finished his food and since then has not had another episode. I can truly say that one dose was all it took, he went from having 8 (or more) seizures a day to none, overnight! It took a while to get him back to perfect health after all of the negative effects of the medication, I weaned him off quite quickly but his front teeth started rotting anyway as a result. I continue to give him this supplement and he is back to his old self, even his teeth have improved. It has been over 4 months and he has been completely seizure-free since that first dose, absolutely incredible! I was very surprised that a simple deficiency could cause so many issues, especially since I always fed him very high quality grain free food which claimed to have all necessary nutrients. This was such a simple solution, I am so grateful for this product.

Lysine is good for cats, not sure about the rest of the supplement
Senior cat over 20lb and 14yo. She is indoor/outdoor cat and finishing up her first jar added into her tuna. Lysine has been given to her for respiratory issues when she sleeps. I also add a quarter of a cap of Taurine since I have read that it is one of the amino acids feline bodies can not make naturally. Studies indicate that mice live longer lives with it. Arginine though good in humans for nitric oxide appears to be associated with feline herpes according to some sources. While it has not hurt my cat, I think there might be questionable ingredients so I will be looking closer at the ingredient labels. The powder is kind of a pink color and sticks to the spoon provided making uneven doses in some cases.

Caution. Made my cats vomit
UPDATE: WE FOUND OUT WHAT MADE THEM SICK AND IT WAS NOT THIS PRODUCT. I RESUMED GIVING THIS TO THEM WITH NO ILL EFFECTS. I have 3 cats. I started to use this product and noticed that all 3 of them started to vomit and act funny after about 3 weeks of using it. I didn't really connect the dots until about 5 weeks later when they all got VERY sick, 2 of them with bad vomiting and acting out of it. I came to the reviews section just now to see if any other cat parents experienced a similar thing but only saw one review whose cat had a negative health experience and it went away when he stopped using it. I would say use this with caution and watch how your cat reacts.

This product almost killed my cat and screwed up my whole life!!!
THIS PRODUCT ALMOST KILLED MY CAT. After adding this to their food as recommended, all of my cats started vomiting within a day or two, so I discontinued using it right away. Everyone bounced back except Moon, a healthy 9 year old neutered male. He was still projectile vomiting days after I discontinued using the product, so I brought him to vet. A few days later, he began vomiting brown blood. I thought for sure he needed to be euthanized, took him to an emergency vet hospital where they treated him for an ulceration somewhere in his GI tract and sent us home with more meds. We are on day 9 of this nightmare and Moon still isnโt eating or drinking on his own. We are going back to the vet at 2 today. My poor cat is still so sick that he needs continuous care throughout the day between all the different meds he needs and subcutaneous injection of fluids to keep him hydrated. Iโve missed a whole week of work so far and still canโt go back. So far, Iโve spent over $900 on vet care plus Iโm out a whole weekโs pay, to boot - AND weโre not even close to done yet. Between the vet bills and lost earnings, this bottle of vitamins has set me back many thousands of dollars. So no, I am definitely not happy with my purchase. I bought this product to help my cats maintain healthy bodies, and it did the exact opposite.

Second tub!
This stuff is great, makes me feel like I'm dong something to improve my moggies health, my cats are perfectly happy eating in when sprinkled on their food and my old girly (18 this year) seems as bright as a button. Obviously I have no idea whether or not this is actually doing anything, but it makes me feel good!

It is a good product. With yellow color powder, and smell like cat food. But hoped I bought an unflavored powder aa my cats are picky.

Keeping the kitten in my cat
Excellent supplement for an indoor cat. My cat gets a dose of this every morning in her food and it's certainly keeping her fit and young. She loves playing and 'hunting' which I'm sure is aided by this supplement. I do wonder why there's such a large tub since the contents barely fill half of it?
