NPET Pet Water Fountain Water Pump with LED Light for WF020/WF050/WF210 Cat Fountain

This is a replacement for a different pump. My cat loves her water fountain. The blue light is awesome.

My daughter's cat had a lot of questions when the original pump on his water dish failed.This answered them. He's a happy guy again.

I got this as a replacement for the HB-200 pump that burned out in my Diropet cat water fountain. This is almost perfect. It works but the tube that comes out from the top of the pump is slightly too small for the longer tube that connects and runs to the top of the fountain. Ultimately, this causes no issues in functionality other than the fact that the top of the fountain can now lift straight off. This doesn't affect the cats drinking from the fountain so I would certainly consider using this pump in the future. Also comes with suction cups on the bottom which the HB-200 replacement pump on Amazon did not.

I was skeptical that it would work with my several year old npet cat water fountain. However, it fit the old fountain perfectly and it's just as quiet as the old pump! I love the blue light addition so my kitties can have extra light at night in our new house to find it easier. A++++!

5/19/25 UPDATE - I don't like this pump. Needs to be cleaned every week. Flow was very strong to start but now is quite week. Of course I am 3-days past my return window - which means in just over a month, this pump is junk. I need to check original description to see about warranty.ORIGINAL REVIEW - Seems to work ok. This is not the specific pump for my Catix model of water fountain, but came much more quickly. It does not come with a plastic flex tube - glad I saved my old one. It is a tighter fit into that flex tube that motor that came with product. It was not working well, so I tried to clean it within the first week - and noticed the motor had slid down on the tube. I'm not sure if that decreased suction or what happened. But since I snugged it back into place, it seems to work ok. Less than 1 month of use as I am writing the review.

I was looking for a replacement pump after ours failed within a few months of buying it and I didn’t have to go far when looking for it I saw this one had good reviews and bought it. It was a great choice because I absolutely have no complaints although I did have to take off the spout/extra piece on top of the fountain due to the pump being super strong and it was throwing the water outside the bowl. Other than that it’s great and I love the light as well.

I used this to replace the original pump that lasted for 3+ years. It orks the same as the previous one but has a nice light plus a sensor to stop hen the water level is low. Be aware it does not come with the adapter to plug in to the outlet, however the same from the original pump does work for it.
