This is a simple product. Pad is made from natural fibers, fits easily over the mattress, and looks as though it will wash well. Good quality at a great price. The pad itself is soft and comfortable, but remember that this product is not really designed to provide a substantial amount of extra padding to the mattress. The reviewers who seem dissatisfied with the amount of comfort added should be in the market for a mattress topper not a mattress pad.

Good mattress pad, and I was happy to find a non-plastic option for a reasonable price.The sides are as thin and easy to puncture as the other reviews indicate. Would definitely be a five-star pad were it not for that factor.It fits my 11" memory foam bed well and helps my sheets stay on better.UPDATE: After 3 months, the sides ripped so badly I had to throw the pad out because it wouldn't stay on the mattress anymore. Wasted money, and it shredded too late to return the item.Don't waste your money.

I purchased this mattress pad about 3 weeks ago based on the very good reviews on this website. Even though there were no reviews which talked about how much padding this particular pad actually provided, I decided to take a chance.Let me start by saying that I agree that this pad fits very well over our current mattress (in fact, our mattress apparently was quite thin, so adding the pad on top helped our sheets fit a bit better) and the material it is made of seems like it would hold up pretty well in the washing machine.Unfortunately, this pad is not very thick. In fact, I would argue that it's very hard to tell the difference when this pad is attached to the mattress.Overall, for the price, it's not horrible. But if you are buying a pad looking for a boost in comfort, I would recommend that you look a little more, or at least try to find this product in a retail store so you can see what I mean for yourself.

It was exactly as it was advertised. The top is not thick, nor water proof but that is not what it is intended to be. It is a great starter type mattress cover. The skirt is completely around the parameter, holds well and is expandable so it fits my fat mattress. Good product!

I bought this mattress pad in 2012 for our California king, and have loved it! It stays in place on the bed and is easily machine washable. I really like the krinkly expandable sides, because they fit better than other mattress covers and don't wear out as fast. I have looked for those sides at other places and they are surprisingly very hard to find. I have probably washed this mattress cover at least 50 times since I purchased it. It's wearing out now, but considering how long I have had it, I am very pleased. I am about to purchase another one to replace the one I have had since 2012. Will also purchase one for our new queen-sized Serta mattress in our guest bedroom.

While it's been 3 years since I purchased this mattress pad, I am pretty disappointed in the durability, as it's been used very little. I washed this when it first arrived then put it on a seldom used guest bed. The sheets have been changed maybe 15 - 20 times since this pad was first put on. Then today when I removed it to wash, the elastic around the sides separated from the top in several places. I can see that it was poorly constructed so that the stitches that hold the elastic strings actually perforated the very cheap material that makes up the side material. This is in our vacation cabin, so I don't have a sewing machine to repair it (though it doesn't look very reparable). It really irks me that crappy products like this end up being disposable - this is such a waste of resources and money. Ugh.

I had a mattress pad like this for years that needed to be replaced and I'm glad I was able to find the same style. It washed fine and if it is like the one it replaces will survive several washings. It is a really snug fit and wraps around and under the mattress. I didn't buy it for it's thickness but rather as a protector to the pillow top on my new mattress. It's a great product at a great price.

I had high hopes when I purchased this mattress pad; previous reviews were decent. Sadly, its not constructed 100%of real material. The part that holds it onto the mattress is made out of the plasticy material that reusable shopping cart bags are made of. It tore the first time I put it on the mattress. Still, I needed it so I didn't immediately send it back. Upon use, it comes off ALL the time - and our mattress isn't as thick as the 15" the pad is advertised to fit. Not suprisingly, it tore one of the times I put it back on. Worst yet, is that upon trying to remove the pad from my bed, it tore again. So now, 3 out of 4 corners are tore and I have no clue if it will actually go back on the bed now. This pad was a huge disappointment. If you need a pad, keep looking. This pad is not worth the investment. It didn't last us two months before being 100% destroyed, compared to the pad we were replacing that lasted 7 years.
