Hayao Miyazaki & Studio Ghibli Deluxe 17 Best Movie Collection 6 DVD Set

I love Ghibli movies and I'm glad I could get the collection for so cheap, my only complaint is some of the movies are very pixelated for parts of the movies but that's to be expected, eventually I'll get better copies

Grainy, which is disappointing since my screen isn't very large. But I suppose that comes with the price. Other wise great deal

Are these a knock off copy? i don't know, but truthfully the quality is questionable. DVDs do work though!

The films are right from what I've watched so far, but the video quality is not good. It's such a bummer since a huge part of the Ghibli films are how absolutely stunning and detailed the art style is. However, watching Howl's moving castle, it was grainy and fuzzy, and any detail and crispness was completely lost. It was still enjoyable watching the movie, and the audio quality seemed decent, but the blurriness definitely detracted from the watching experience.

I was very hesitant to buy this at first after reading some of the comments but I am glad to say that I purchased this. The claims of really bad pixelation of the videos is not true unless you're playing on a very large screen TV I have a 36-42 inch TV and have no issues with the pixelation and it's just as if I bought the DVD from Walmart.

Nearly half the videos barely work, a few won't even start. Amazing movies, but this is not the place to purchase them. All the movies have terrible quality. I recommend you wait and buy a better version. Don't let the quality keep you from buying the movies somewhere else. I grew up in a Japanese family watching many of these films so I would hate to give them one star. The movie quality was just very disappointing. I watched a few and the quality only gets worse. (We ended up buying most of the videos from Prime).

So. The price value for this set was awesome! The packaging is cute and its simple to read and use. The graphic is definitely not the greatest and grainy. The subtitles are also not removable and not accurate, so it drives me nuts. If you're okay with a lower quality picture and inaccurate subtitles, this will work for you!
