The tinted visor is adequate except at night. It would be very useful if they provided polarized lenses If swapping lenses, like I do screwdrivers are essentials

Folds away nicely and adds some protection when in the trees. Has a nice tint to it about like my normal safety glasses. Not great for keeping the sawdust out and I doubt it will last more then a month without a lot of scratches, They should come in packs of three or something and the price should reflect that this is a disposable item that will need to be replaced often. Does make you feel live maverick off of top gun lol

Fits well and covers properly. Very good optical quality. A little stiff to move up and down but it may loosen over time so that's better than having it fall down when not wanted. Side mounting screws could be a little longer. Hope they don't accidently fall out. They would be hard to replace.

A bit pricey but worked great in on a bright sunny day. Would recommend this item.

Had this for a year now and still holding up it even held up when I got attack by bees while in the bucket and the helmet went for one hell of a ride everything held up petzl makes awesome products wish I woulda bought it sooner lol

As far form factor is concerned, this futuristic looking visor is very well designed. Fits easily onto a Vertex helmet and offers immediate screening from bright light/the sun. If you work in construction like I do, be prepared to get a lot of gawping and 'Ere, look at what that w****r is wearing' (This is the only downside, it helps if you have a thick skin immune to such jibes) It does the job, however. I've written a fairly extensive review of the Vertex Vent black helmet, complete with other additional accessories on the Amazon product page. If this visor appeals to you and you are already hovering over the 'Buy' button, it's a little pricey, but it does exactly what its designed for. When you study its integration onto the helmet itself, you soon realise it couldn't have looked any other way.

Very good item. The tint is not too dark so its okay in the early morning or evening. Your earmuffs seal real well not having safety glasses wedged under them.

Ich benutze Petzl Helme auf der Baustelle ( Vent ). Ich arbeite ausschließlich in den Tropen, da ist die Helmbelüftung ein riesen Vorteil. Zum Visir: Das Visir ist gut und stabil, die Montage am Helm ist fummelig, geht aber. Das Visir lässt sich ( in meinem Fall ) gut über eine Brille herunterklappen. Die Tönung ist noch o.k. und nicht zu stark. Ein paar kleine Kratzer nach ein paar Einsätzen lassen sich nicht vermeiden, ist halt aus Plastik. Der Preis ist der größte Nachteil. Knapp 50EUR sind schon grenzwertig.
