When installing, one of the threads was just slightly off, too large for the fitting. It worked for a few days then it started shutting the gas off when it got just a little hot before the oven could reach even 300 degrees and would not work until completely cold. The original one lasted in the same position and worked perfectly for 20+ years even if the oven was at 600 degrees or more for hours on end. Should have never replaced it. Big mistake.

Received gas valve and installed it. Flooding gas at first than shutting down when temp. reached. Can't relight. One oven down right in the middle of dinner.
