I've bought mics before for podcasting and they were not plug and play, so they went into the donation bin. This one was definitely plug and play and the sound is smooth. Was on a zoom call with my friend and she was surprised at how warm my voice sounded when I used this mic. Can't wait to build my podcast to see what this thing can do.

I got a boom arm, and had a fishing pole shipped, I took that fishing pole shipping cylinder filled it with foam and inserted the mic to help dampen noise and give it even more of a directional sound capture, it does a pretty good job but it still picks up some keyboard stuff so either push to talk or have the discord set up to start at a certain dB.All in all I'm happy with the purchase coming from steel series headset/mic combo. I haven't done much to get all the good sound out of it, just using USB and it does a really good job... I feel like my sound from Yeti was a bit better but they use a different medium to capture voice. I think if I went XLR I could get an amazing sound response.

It came in the mail with a terrible audio defect. Shouldve just gone to town for a microphone so if this happened I could easily return it. waste of time and money..

This is one of the best mics for podcasting and I needed a third microphone. This mic works just as good as new, so happy with this purchase.

I love audio technica, super high quality stuff my original mic I still use and I've been using it for 4 years now, same model although this one has a USBC instead of the mini USB I used to have, which is good. This is a very good dynamic range cardioid microphone and I highly recommend this brand. The best part about this mic is you can use it with XLR as well as with usb, which works best for podcasting
