Great steak knives to add to my wusthof collection. The knives are very sharp out of the box and appear slick and well made!

Great quality. I bought a set after our wedding in 2004 and they are often used - and for more that just steak knives. They stay really sharp and still look nearly new after hundreds of uses. I bought this set from Amazon as a gift for a dear friend who cooks non stop and is a meat lover like myself. Visited him recently and he is as thrilled with them as I have been. There are much cheaper ones but these are ones you will pass down to your kids' kids.

By FAR my most favorite cutlery company: Usually top notch (there are exceptions, like with any manufactured item) and very (!) sharp. What I usually like with Wusthof cutlery is the fantastic balance - maybe not so important with steak knives, but definitely with larger knives. I prefer the Classic line because the steel is ideal for holding and nice to look at. The steak knives I bought as classic too so it fits the rest of my knives.

Just wanted to warn people about fakes. Ordered these knives and received the package today. The box in the package is the real Wusthof box. However, it was clearly opened and closed with clear tape later. The knives inside are some Allwin-Houseware knives that look like and feel like $2 Dollarama knives.
