I only use ice for low back pain. I know heat can relax muscles however it always gives me more inflammation. So I only use ice for low back pain. Keep it in freezer, good size, easy to pop it on

Perfect, did the job

I bought this belt for my son who had slipped on ice last week. The result being, having back pain also leg pain (sciatic). I searched amazon for something to help the pain. I bought him this belt and he has said its great and really has helped him sleep comfortably and eased the pain.

The belt is mainly for my back and to keep it warm. But when i place it in the microwave to heat it up it only heats up a few of the elements in the belt.

Have used this a lot since developing cauda equina syndrome, both before and after my operation and I love that it can be used for both cold and hot. I’ve had no issues using this in the microwave or freezer, haven’t had any issues with it leaking etc so I’d say it’s pretty good value for money. Just don’t put it directly on skin after it’s been in the freezer as I got freezer burn after using it like that, which was my own fault as the instructions say not to do this

This is such an amazing ice pack! I suffer from time to time very lower back cramps from being hit by a car when I was a teenager and before I used to have to either balance the ice pack on my back or sit with it wedged in a chair but with this ice pack I can literally just strap it around my waist to sit it on my lower back over my clothes and stays it there! The straps in my opinion are pretty generous and also have stretch, and the Velcro is strong and stays put. It has also been really really refreshing to wear in this in this heatwave to cool off! The only thing I personally wouldn’t do with this single purchase is use it as an ice pack and a heat pack. If I ever do want to use it as a heat pack at any point in the future, I will buy another one and use that one for heat alone.I have no idea how durable it is to heat and ice the same 1 pack as I’ve never tried it. But personally I wouldn’t do both to one pack as I think it would risk shortening its lifespan. I think it’s pretty well known fact that exerting two opposite extreme temperatures on everyday general materials is going to put more stress on the material. I personally would have no problem purchasing 2 packs - 1 for heat and 1 separate one for cold as I think this is a great buy.
