DISLIKES: Recharge time, to recharge after a good usage of the tool requires 5 hours to a full charge before you can get working again, that is with the default adapter{charger) that comes with it, which is 6V 400mA. This also depends on the amperage of your charger, I have found chargers with a 2Amp up to 5Amp charge things faster, and can cut your recharge cycle down quite a bit, 2 Amp usually about 2-1/2 to 3 1/2 hours, a 5 Amp charger can reduce this down to anywhere from 30 minutes, to not usually more than 2 hours{if that} for a full recharge. I have numerous adapters with a wide variety of voltages and ratings, always USE a charger/adapter with the correct voltage, in this case 6V, but the amperage is what makes the difference in how fast it will recharge. LIKES: Rechargeable, cuts through many different materials smoothly and easily. Self Sharpening blade, so longer use of the cutting blade before having to possibly replace the circular blade. I wouldn't actually call this tool electric scissors, it's more like a sub-miniature hand-held circular saw. I purchased this tool initially for cutting out old carpeting from my home, it cuts through the carpet like a hot knife would cut through a stick of butter. Not only that, but I have also used this tool to cut down my Amazon Delivery boxes for easy removal, some boxes that may have a very thick form, it will cut them, but it's a little harder to get the tool through those, but most standard boxes, it makes short work of them, cutting them down to small square sections in less time than it does to break them down by hand and cut them down with a standard pair of scissor. My wife cut down a box of the same size using scissors, and I was using the tool, I had completed the complete cut-down of my box, same exact size as here, in less than 5 minutes, while she was still struggling to get her box cut down to size for the trash bag, her box was still over 70% intact, I cut down various size boxes, a total of 15 boxes from medium to very large, in the time it took her to cut down the one box she was working on. I have used the tool to cut Coroplast, thin plexiglass, this plastic sheeting, and very thin wood molding for interior door frames, when the tool started slowing down and cutting became more difficult, I knew it was either time to recharge the tool, or sometimes just hold the tool, not cutting anything, hold in the safety button in and power button, to allow the tool to run with no cutting, this will resharpen the blade, and if the tool still has enough of a charge, continue cutting until it bogs down, then a simple recharge takes care of that. Just about anything you cut with a pair of sharp scissors, this tool would probably cut as well. Yes, I can recommend this tool, it's a great tool to have in your arsenal of home improvement and cleanup tools. It will definitely help you get the job down much faster than a manual cutting tool for many different materials, which makes it an indispensable, versatile, and worthy tool to have.

Works great on industrial cardboard. As stated it can cut up to 1/4, at my work that means up to 6 sheets of backing cardboard for RVs. The scissors we have are dull and tgis will give you a precision line. I would recomend 5 pieces to not wear oout the motor. The edge guide is great for cutting right beside wood. This has increased productivity and redued hand ache. In comparison scissors g PO ve you a jagged edge and a boy cutter takes 3 cuts with a metal ruler. I dont know about full battery life but it made it thew a week. Cons: With carpal tunnel pressing the side saftey button is slightly irritating as its opn the side (right handed only) and this had higher ratings than WARRIOR 4V Cordless Power Cutter that has a top safety button. Over all I can cut multiple sheets improving productivity for teammates, speed and detail is great compared to pink power micoro scissors.

I bought this set to try to get some relief for arthritic hands since too many things purchased nowadays come eith that stiff molded packages. Here is the good .. like all worx products, they charge easily and run reliably for reasonable use. Here is the caution .. keep it in the case and away from anyone who is unable to listen to reasonable care warnings .. since it is SHARP and moves thru heavy plastic and cardboard with ease. It is balanced correctly for RIGHT HANDERS ONLY. The bad .. for me it is the USUAL problem with all tools .. being a natural left handed individual (never could do things right handed), CLEARLY this was made for the majority of population that is right handed! Yep .. its cumbersome for a natural left handed individual and to switch to try to use either my right hand is awkward, hard to hold, and just almost impractical to use for my purposes. I'm leaving this is a caution .. for natural left handed individuals, since I used even more awareness when using. I have to do this in silence with no one around, since my tendency to reverse things is always a problem no matter what tools I use. And the awkward balance for me as a lefty is an issue for sure

Great tool for cardboard. Fast, good ergonomics. Only suggestion would be to make a big brother 12V cutter same design to handle very thick cardboard like large tv box stuff as this one gets bogged down in thick stuff. Id buy one in a heartbeat worx

Worth it. I always used scissors or a utility knife but the convenience of this electric scissor makes breaking down cardboard boxes super fast and easy. I can declutter from any Amazon deliveries amazingly fast. No more putting it off and having boxes in the way. Product seems to be good quality but time will tell how long it holds up.

I bought these scissors to help me cut up cardboard boxes. They’re okay for the most part. They’re good with the thinner cardboard but they couldn’t handle the thicker cardboard on some furniture boxes I had . They do not like to cut plastic tape. I haven’t used them with any other medium. I’d give them a so so as far as an overall rating. I’m sticking to my box cutter in most cases.

The blade is self sharpening and holds an edge well, it uses a standard barrel jack plug included for charging and is a good and sturdy material that'll last a long time.
