I have weak nails and this is about the only way I can get my nails strong enough to grow. Its great and very easy to do yourself. Doing this gel myself not only is much cheaper than going to a nail salon, I also can leave it off, at least overnight, let my nails breathe, moisturize them and prevent damage that other people I know receive from going to have a gel manicure done. I bought the LED lamp for this system over ten years ago and it still works. I love this whole system and it is one of the best purchases I've made! I highly recommend!!

I love this stuff. Pros: The primer and base/top coat work well. I have used them with Sensationail colors and with other brands, like Sally Hansen. In all cases the quality was good. I'm careful to follow the instructions and usually my polish does not come off until I take it off after a week or two. Cons: I really, really wish they would sell the gel primer and top/base coat individually, but I don't think they do. I wasn't able to find it. After I knocked over the brand new bottle of primer and spilled it all, I wasn't too happy that I had to buy another package with both items when I only needed the primer. Likewise, one time I decided to paint on the top coat in full sunlight and of course the UV light from the sun made it become gloppy and unusable. I know that is my fault, but still...I ended up having to buy primer + base/top coat together. I do hate how all the primer will easily spill out of the bottle if you knock it over. With the polish, if you knock it over accidentally, all is not lost. You might not even spill any. But if you knock over this primer, you're going to lose it all. I don't find their included orange stick to be useful for removing polish, if that is what it's for. I use their metal polish peeler instead and usually I can avoid having to use acetone soaks to get the polish off. The orange stick would be woefully inadequate for this.

I loved going and getting gel polish in the salon, lasts 2 weeks with no chips easy, sometimes I could stretch it into 3 weeks. I got the Sensational starter kit with the lamp and all the stuff you need and have been doing my nails at home ever since. The only downside to gel nails is the removal, but that is a small price to pay for perfectly polished nails that don't chip like regular polish. I do have some peel off base coat ordered I am eager to try with the gell nails. I love this top coat. Very easy to apply and even though the bottle looks so small, one bottle lasts for a long time. The primer works well with my nails, does not do much for my kids' nails, theirs still pops off all the time. My only gripe is the way the primer bottle is designed. For such a thin product, the bottle needs to be shaped differently or have a better closure because if mine tips over in my "nail stuff box" it always leaks and gets everything else sticky. I have to store it upright.

THIS IS FOR REFILLS* I've been repurchasing this to use with the light that came in the kit and it does a great job! Now, if you try to use it with regular polish..it doesn't stay on long at all BUT if you use it with the corresponding polish...it'll stay on for 2+ weeks!!

The only other base or top coat or primer I have used is Gelish and I prefer SensatioNail. The base and top coat is easy to apply and covers well and seems to be longer lasting. Its brush is just right. I like having to have only the one bottle for both and the top coat is always nice and clear and shiny. Shaking seems to help with lasting longer. Someone told me not to shake it and when I did that application my polish peeled within a few days. The primer spills too easily for me and the brush applicator isn't the best, but I do think it helps the base coat to adhere better. With Sensationail base/top and primer, my manicures generally last fairly well for about 2 weeks and a pedicure lasts for a month and just begins to look bad from growing out instead of ever chipping off. I wish SensatioNail had more color varieties but I have had good results using these products with Calvuz glittery polishes. This is my latest favorite assortment. Fantastic base coat/top coat. Protects and seals gel polish very well. Cures fast and very hard. My only issue is that the bottle is so small.

Easy to use at home. I've been buying and using Sensationail clear coat for several years. In the past I had bought it from my local Walmart, but I tried to buy some, and they no longer carry it in our store. It was also not available at their website, but I did find it here on Amazon, so I ordered a couple of bottles, and came back to order more. They arrived in just a couple of days, undamaged, and are exactly the same as what I have been purchasing in-store. You do need a UV light to cure the gel, so keep that in mind.

Used it to fix worn “corners” of a professional manicure. Lasted well, 1 week so far. Dried reasonably level with previously applied gel.

Really like the top coat that sensationail do, prefer it to any other gel coat but just wish it was in a bigger bottle. Primer is also good but very sticky.

I love sensationail base and top coat. Tend to use different make of coloured gels polish but always use this product at the start and end.
