Joseph Joseph Wash & Drain Kitchen Dish Tub Wash Basin with Handles and Draining Plug, 9 liters/2.3 Gallons, White/Green

This is something I had a hard time deciding if I really needed or not, because I already had one of those big thin plastic Dish pans to place in my new farmhouse style sink so I wouldn't have to fill up the sink and than not have an area to rinse off my dishes. Using this style of sink is definitely new to me after only using what I call a normal style sink (the ones with two sides) anyway the wash pan I had was doing its job , but I really hated having to dump it out after every use or when I needed to change the water, because it created a big mess and I had to make sure I didn't have anything in the sink next to it when I dumped it out or things would slide and get broken . I also realized if I didn't clean it every night and let the bottom of it dry I was going to end up with mold and who knows what else. So I decided I definitely needed something with legs and a drain ,unfortunately these type of dish pans are kinda pricey and I definitely had to convince myself it was going to be worth the price ! Now that I have this Joseph Joseph wash a Drain pan I can say so Far its been wonderful. It fit great in my sink , but it is a little smaller than my original pan ...However it still fits a good amount of Dishes in it which I was happy to see . I was also surprised how thick and well made it is . You can pick it up to move it while it is full of water and dishes with no worries . As far as the drain part its also been great. its very easy to use and I haven't had any issues with it leaking water out while im washing my dishes. Overall Im very pleased with it, because its been wonderful to use and would definitely buy again if I needed another!

I'm so happy I sprung for this because I now HAVE to wash CPAP hoses at least weekly. This meant I needed an effective upstairs option that let me have a deep enough container and, why I got this, a way to dump it other than lifting a container full of water and pouring it out. This has a plug on the bottom, well designed, that allows me to drain the soapy water into the sink. I'll probably use it to bathe cats, too as the higher sides would make them scramble less.

If you are expecting or have recently had a baby, you need one of these! I was getting bogged down in the kitchen with all of my pump parts, bottles, etc that I was having to wash every day. I got one of these during a late-night Amazon scroll and am so glad I did! I fill mine up with my dirty bottles and pump parts, add soap and hot water, and when I'm ready to do the dishes just rinse them out and give them a quick clean out with a bottle brush. They are always clean and it has saved me so much time. I also now use this for laundry when I need to treat a stain on a small item (like baby clothes)! I love that I can set it in the sink and drain it from the bottom. plus the handles are so nice! I have never had an issue with it leaking where the drain is and have been using it for months.

I am a knitter, therefore I wash a lot of handknit items. The sink isn't ideal for this, so I usually use a mixing bowl and then just pour a few changes of water out. This dish pan has been incredibly handy for hand-washing. I use a no-rinse wool soak (Soak or Eucalan, in case you're curious), and let the water drain out completely before rolling my woolens in clean towels. It has also come in handy for a variety of other cleaning situations, and it's really nice to have around. Love the look, and most importantly, the drain is leak-free. Joseph Joseph is great for well-designed tools for the kichen and home, and this is another winner!

Good design. For both purposes (dishes in the kitchen, sporty lycra washout for the shower), I bought the green color, which is really an off-white basin with a green drain. Regardless of the nice color, the unit is worth in value for the money paid, being it serves purposes very well. Durable, it keeps the shape when picking up by the handles when filled to the brim with water. In the kitchen, even though it needn't have it, the basin sits on a wire grate (because that was what I was using for the basin that was replaced.) I tried it...it can stand on its own without it, but I prefer the additional elevation when hand washing dishes, etc. Great for soaking, if in a hurry and need to save till later in standing water. Highly recommended for square sink washers!

I did not plan to use this in my kitchen sink. I had planned to use it to soak items for laundry purposes. So much so, that I ordered a collapsible basin at the same time, to use for dishes. This basin arrived first so I decided to try it out in the kitchen sink. Well, I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. I don't have a large sink and this fit perfectly. I like the idea of the drain and handles. It is sturdy and holds water to soak dishes and/or pots and pans if needed. My son came home for the weekend and happened to see it. He was also impressed. He thought the drain was a great idea as it keeps the sink cleaner. I plan to buy 2 more as gifts for a couple of people I know. I'm very happy that I purchased this! 9/10/2020 I just purchased my third one as a gift. I had a couple of guests here for the weekend and they liked the way the basin drained. They also commented on the handles. Thanks to 2 day shipping, I was able to have one sent to me and gave it to them before they left for home.

I bought this for several reasons and I like it so much I plan to purchase another. I wanted it because my garbage disposal is broken and I want to buy a new sink and disposal at the same time. I need a way to keep food and debris from going into the disposal and this will work fine for that. It holds water tightly until you open the drain. It was just delivered two days ago and I realized that it was also the answer to a germophobe's dream…I do not put silverware and some other items in the dishwasher. Even with a clean sink I hate to put anything food related in there. This Wash and Drain fit perfectly in my sink…it is a standard 33x22 over mount with two bowls. Rather than wash one piece of silverware at a time, wasting water…I put everything in the tub and let it soak…then opened the drain and because it takes forever for soap suds to go away then I was able to rinse each individual item. I'm hoping that when I get a one bowl sink and have this removed I will just be able to drain water from the Joseph and Joseph tub and rinse all a once in the tub. When I buy another it ill be to wash fruits and veggies. For such a small amount of money this is a terrific find. I love the Joseph and Joseph company. I have quite a few of their products. One of my favorites is their olive jar spoon. I think it is such a clever and very useful invention just like this tub. Oh and I must mention these are made very well. Great quality products!!! This tub is VERY sturdy! Thank you for making my life easier!

キッチンで使うタオル、布巾、台拭きを漂白するために購入しました。 当初漂白剤に耐えられる素材として琺瑯の洗い桶を検討したのですが、価格が高く断念。次に 検討したステンレスの洗い桶を購入しました。目的には適合しましたがデザイン的に如何にも 無骨なので、再度検索してこの洗い桶を見つけました。 素材がポリプロピレンだったのでカスタマーQ&Aに漂白剤に耐えられるか質問したところ、 日常的に漂白剤を入れて使っていると言う方から回答があり、大丈夫とのことだったので購入 を決めました。 まだ一回しか漂白に使っていませんが、とても使いやすかったです。 良かった点： 1．漂白剤に耐えられる。ただしいつか劣化が現れるかも知れません。でもウィキペディアで 調べたところ、以下のように記載されていました。これなら大丈夫でしょう。 ポリプロピレンは汎用樹脂の中で最高の耐熱性を誇り、比重が最も小さくて水に浮かぶと いう特徴を有する。さらに汎用樹脂としては比較的、強度が高く、耐薬品(酸、アルカリを 含む)性に優れ、吸湿性が無いといった特長も有している。 2．洗い桶をひっくり返さなくても中に入れた水を抜ける。漂白に使う場合には何度かすすぎの ために水を張り直す必要がありますが、排水キャップを回すだけで排水、注水が出来るので とても便利です。 3．底の四隅と排水口の周りに足があるので、水を一杯張っても変形する恐れが無い。 4．排水キャップは簡単に回せる。一部キャップが固いと投稿されている方がおられましたが、 ひょっとしたら個体差があるのかも知れません。私が購入した物は全く問題ありませんでした。 5．ハンドルがあるので、水を張った状態でも移動が容易。 イマイチな点：ありません。 早くこの商品を見つけ出せれば良かったです。余計な買い物をせずに済んだはず。

Cette bassine est très solide et bien conçue. Elle me sert à récupérer l'eau de lavage des légumes. Je m'en sers ensuite pour arroser. Les deux poignées sont très pratiques.

I bought one of these Joseph Joseph bowls back in 2015 with money given to me for my birthday. It's not cheap, but I loved the look of it so much I decided to treat myself. It lasted me through10 years of everyday use and had only just started looking a little tired. I had no hesitation in getting a new one in the Amazon sale a couple of months ago, and I'm so glad I did because the new one is so much smoother and stain resistant. I had forgotten what a pleasure it is to use. The bowl is very elegant, but also very practical. The centre piece turns to lock it so you can put it somewhere and fill it with water without worrying about leaking. Draining it is easy and quick. I have found that it saves water and now I'd find it hard not to have it, I'm so used to it. The handles mean it's easy to move around comfortably. It has a coating that protects it very efficiently from potential stains. It's so easy to rinse off gravy residue or sauce from the bottom. It just glides off. So it stays hygienic and elegant and odour free. No need to use harsh chemicals to clean it. In fact, it is recommended not to use bleach as it will damage this silky coating. The bowl fits my sink really well and gives a lot of space to wash up. It's particularly good for your special china and glass, but because it rinses so well it's also great for rinsing vegetables and fruits. Someone said that it is spoiled by stickers that are very difficult to get off. I was able to get the stickers off really easily by slowly peeling them away, as I had done with my first one. I would highly recommend this fabulous washing-up bowl. I love it. My old one now has a new job because I couldn't bring myself to part with it. I now use it when I'm crafting. Absolutely worth every penny.

Habe diese Geschirr-Wasch-Schüssel gekauft um beim händischen Abwaschen Wasser zu sparen. Sie ist jetzt knapp eine Woche im Einsatz und ich bin sehr zufrieden. Solide Verarbeitung, qualitativ hochwertiger Kunststoff und durch die quadratische Form passt jegliches Geschirr (außer großen Töpfen & Pfannen natürlich) hervorragend hinein. Ein weiteres Plus: Durch die stabilen Griffe auch befüllt leicht aus dem Waschbecken zu heben, falls man dieses während des Abwasches schnell einmal für etwas Anderes benötigt. Die Schüssel ist leicht zu reinigen und auch der Ablauf schließt sehr gut dicht. Jederzeit gerne wieder! Nachtrag: Auch heute (16. Juni 2018) bin ich von der Qualität noch absolut begeistert! Auch der Verschluss ist nach über einem Jahr intensiver Nutzung immer noch absolut dicht! Schade, dass es diese Schüssel nicht in mehreren Größen gibt!
