Fits my 1911
I put this on a GI 1911 with those awful plastic grips. The walnut is gorgeous; fits perfectly.

Very nice grigs
Not only do these grips look good, they improved the overall appearance of my Tisas, Officer model 1911 A-1, 45 ACP. The checkered pattern on the grips allow for a better hand hold while firing. Much better than the plastic grips that came with the firearm. The fit is perfect for this weapon, and the screws are flush with the grips, so there is no complaint in that area. and as of yet, I have not found anything about these grips that I don't like. I would recommend these grips to any one who wants to improve the look and feel if their 1911.

Checkered with pearl wood composite
Absolutely beautiful! Came with screws. Very easy to install. Fit my Springfield Garrison 1911 perfectly! My man likes them so much he might buy some too! So glad I bought them

Wow these were REALLY nice grips. They were finished nicely and actually fir the grip bushings properly (unlike some other 1911 grips on Amazon).

Good value, some sanding may be required
Over feel is good and gives a nice vintage look On my rock island fs tatical 1911 one side (pictured) needed some sanding at the top to lay flat, took about 15 min with a sander and repeated test fitting, other side fit fine no sanding required. Good value for the money overall imo

Exceeded Expectations
I purchased these to dress up my old Frankenstein 1911 from the late '70s. I recently had the frame and slide Cerakoted in olive drab and I just wanted some new GI style traditional wood grips for it that were easy on my wallet. These grips are much nicer than I was expecting and the pictures don't really do them justice. You have to see them in person to realize how nice they really are. They fit fine. The grips are very comfortable and the checkering provides just the right amount of grip. No cheese grater effect here like I've had on some G10 grips that cost 3 times as much. I'll probably end up putting these on one of my other 1911's because they seem too nice for this gun. I am very happy with these grips and would buy them again. They are a steal at this price.
