Full protection from wood stove
Got these for loading up the wood stove. After burning my arm on the glass door of our new wood stove, it was time to get longer gloves. These are perfect! These gloves go all the way up to my elbow. Although the hands are big on me, I don't care. It's not like I'm trying to tie shoes with them on. These are heavy duty gloves and my arms are well protected. No more burns!

Heavy duty, thick leather
This is tentative because i haven't yet worked with these gloves. But they are thick, and extremely durable in feel! I'm really looking forward to using them with SMAW & FCAW. I'll update if anything changes. Update: I welded with these today and they performed great! I have zero complaints about them. I would really only find them useful as heavy welding gloves. They're very sturdy, which reduces dexterity. That's what I want for heavy welding, though. I will absolutely but then again!

They keep my arm hair from burning off
These go all the way up to my biceps and protect my hands from splinters and save arm hairs from being singed off when I put logs in the fireplace. However, the leather is very thin, and I will now need to duct tape over some holes that wore through in the dominant thumb.

Add extra leather on the back of the glove for five stars
Waited six months to review... Surprised they're still going... I do stainless and flux core 44hrs a week. Great gloves. Could use a thicker and larger welt on the back of the hand. I thought the long cuffs would be odd, I love them. I'm gonna try the large next time (might only ever use these gloves) the xl seems a bit too big (figured they shrink ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
