Can i connect this to a monitor with a display port and then connect the hdmi to the new xbox series x?

Please note that the cable is UNI-DIRECTIONAL, which means it only converts signal from your computer (with DisplayPort) as a source to your monitor/TV (with HDMI) as an output. How do I get my money back for the stupid court that doesn’t work all the states check video cable I waited two weeks and it doesn’t work horrible

contact the manufacturer...but before you do that, you did see that this is UNI-DIRECTIONAL, from displayport to HDMI, you can't use the other way around. That's clearly stated on the product page.
