Gorgeous and beautiful, these are the words that pop in my mind once I’ve unwrapped this piece of artfully made journal out of the wrapping box and plastic that it arrived in😘it’s really beautiful and very intricately design from its pretty blue lapis stone in the front to the very unique clasp closure that really add a very medieval touch to the whole design of the journal❤️The pages of this journal really reminded me of those old spell books that I’ve always read about in novels and books about old wizards and enchantress from my childhood😁I’m in love with this journal and really glad I’ve found it and bought it at Amazon, thank you Amazon, now I’m going to start preparing what is the concept and words and arts that I’m going to filled up in this journal soon❤️

Amazing feel textures pages are beautiful lovely tonwrite my spells and stories perfectly sized. Very easy writing in with pen or pencil.

The craftsmanship is beautiful and realistic. The handmade paper is sewn in place with leather. You truly can use water color and it will not bleed through. This is timeless gift that is worth every penny I spent. DO NOT BUY the cheep knockoffs!!!!! I will never buy another journal from any other manufacturer again.

This journal was exactly what I was looking for and more. It was an early birthday present to myself as I was looking for a unique, leather bound journal with handcrafted or cotton paper. The quality is A+, it looks like it could be an ancient text, the lapis lazuli stone is glorious and the cotton paper DOES NOT bleed through 🙌🏼. I’ve written in it with both calligraphy marker, watercolor markers and fountain ink. If you’re looking for something special, this is definitely it.

Great quality I love it.. I am transferring all of my favorite poems to this journal now. I would have to say this is my first real quality journal that I own. My daughter has seen what I bought and she's asked me to buy her one as well and I recommend purchasing this journal it is made with great quality and the pages are thick my fountain pen does not bleed through, even when I use my brush fountain pen.

Nice old fashioned paper that looks and feels handmade. Thick and tough feeling. IMO, the cover should have been distressed instead of very new looking. It’s incongruous. “Gem” looks very nice, but lock is a misnomer for latch and is upside down when spine is on the left side. Cover also will take an impression too easily. Wrapped with extra soft paper against it to protect it.

Absolutely gorgeous. I used a quill and ink to write in it and noticed no ghosting or bled ink! The clasp is a little tricky to manoeuvre at first, but it gets easy once you understand the movement. the pages have a lovely weathered/aged aesthetic to them, and are satisfyingly sturdy. The leather is stiff, but I’m sure it’ll soften up a bit with use. honestly, I’m shocked that this journal was such a low price, most that I’ve seen that have this much care and craftsmanship are $100 or more.

Simply amazing. I received this journal about a week ago and I haven’t been able to make myself put a mark in it. I love this thing and don’t want to do anything but look at it. The material is nice, the adornments are spectacular and the paper is amazing. It truly looks like something you’d find in an old wizard’s workshop. The papers are…I don’t even have the words… they are worn, thick card stock that look all handmade. I need to buy more of these. You won’t be disappointed.
