Rips easily without mold release spray

I do resin work and I love these molds. The first time I used it, I made a bowl. I wish I could find a smaller version, so I can do matching salad bowls. The label says it’s food grade. It’s thick and sturdy. Good drying time.

My silicon flower mold was all bent out of shape. It was folded several times and sealed in a small plastic bag. I went to use it the first time and could not get the mold to lay completely flat. I think they had made it a little bit thicker that it would have not bent as easy. I love the flower shape, and hopefully it will straighten out after a few uses The final piece did turn out ok. Also, it does not include any directions or recommendations on how much resin to pour into the mold. I would not buy this item again due to the way they package them.

These new resin molds I got are so much fun to use and design flowers with. I’m not really good at it yet, but it’s fun learning and trying new things. These sets will make great gifts once finished. The silacome is really easy to keep clean and no creases.
