I do a tea advent calendar for my husband every year as he is a heavy tea drinker. I never let him know of the brand or flavors or anything and keep it all a surprise for him. I always make sure its organic though, that is a must! The fun thing about this sort of advent calendars is that they give you a variety of different flavors that you wouldn't have normally tried before if given the chance to buy a whole box. This is really a sampling pack, and through it he found new flavors he liked, and didn't like. One of which he loves was one with licorice in it; He has since demanded that I find where we can buy a box of it so he can have it on hand. Some of these flavors stick around renting space in your memory and that was one for him.

Delicious and unique tea flavors that are perfect for the winter season. I love that there is a different one for each day. This hangs nicely from our kitchen cupboards. We have two so my daughter and I can share some tea time as we watch a nightly TV show or movie, or do some reading after dinner. We buy them every year.

I asked for this for two holidays, but no dice, so I finally just bought it for myself. It's a lovely gift for somebody who wants to explore flavors. I'm generally not a fan of green, berry, or flower teas and I don't like licorice-flavored things, so this was an adventure for me. I confirmed some opinions but was surprised by others, so I've got new favorites that I never would have bought a whole box of just to try. (I found out that actually I really like some of their licorice and fennel and anise flavors -- they've got a bright warmth to them.)

If you're a big fan of the licorice flavour, this is for you. Our observations of the advent calendar seems that Pukka favours licorice-ish and mountain herb flavours. Not our cup of tea (heh) it turns out, but we did love the tea advent calendar experience. Very portable w/ its teabag and flat cardboard layout, which enabled us to easily take advent calendar along while traveling during December. Minimal packaging, imo, making it one of the more sustainable and eco-friendly tea advent calendars I've seen. Good bang for your buck!

My husband received this as a gift last year. He enjoyed each day trying many new tea blends. I purchased a few this year to give as gifts. As others have mentioned it arrived in less than perfect condition for gift giving. The package on a few (I bought 5) were torn at the corner. This did not deter from the tea itself, but it gives a sloppy look for gift giving. I gave it a 4 for giftable due to the damage in shipping. We really like this brand of tea and it is a fun gift to give and receive.

I bought two for gifts (on sale, Black Friday I think). Well worth $10 apiece! I ended up keeping one for myself because my friend told me she is only drinking two types of tea now. So I am enjoying Pukka’s flavors … I usually add honey or another sweetener, but I am not, thus far, with these teas- there’s a subtle sweetness I don’t want to cover up.Big question: Is the Tea Advent Calendar better than a Chocolate Advent Calendar? Ummm… I love Pukka tea; I think the 2 calendars would pair very nicely with one another :-)

Got this advent calendar for my husband as an alternative to a beer advent calendar. He is on a weight loss journey and is avoiding drinking beer for the calories so I wanted to be supportive. He absolutely enjoyed every single flavor. I also got to take some sips of his teas and I was having advent calendar envy lol. They were really good! I read some of the reviews that mentioned that if you like licorice, get them which was the motivating factor as my husband loves licorice. I don’t care for licorice and loved these teas and don’t think that all the teas had licorice like flavors and the ones that did, were very well balanced. Totally recommend!

In general, I enjoy certain flavors of Pukka tea. "Revitalise" has been a favorite for years. So, my mom and I both got this calendar to celebrate the holiday season by having a cup of tea together each day. I didn't realize that Pukka uses lots of licorice!Although I don't enjoy the flavor of licorice, I will choke it down for the health benefits. It's in many herbal teas and healing elixirs. That being said, I don't want it every day. Most of the flavors in this calendar contain licorice.
