Very effective against wasps and carpenter bees
Very effective! I used this to mix in a formula to stop carpenter bees and wasps from building nests in and around my home. I set them around my property. Within two weeks, I no longer here sounds of carpenter bees and wasps about to penetrate my walls. I can finally sleep soundly through the night!

Worked to rid my carpenter ants
Been trying to get rid of carpenter ants for a couple of years in my house. Started with spraying Ortho Home Defense which helped but but just didn't eliminate them. After more research I thought I would try this stuff and this was my last resort. If this was unsuccessful I would hire a exterminator as I was afraid of the home damage they would cause. I did a whole house outside perimeter and it got rid of the ants in a week or so. Then I discovered ants in my pole barn. It was scarry as there were hundreds of ants all over my finished 40' x 60' pole barn floor. I did a heavy outside perimeter (used almost 2 bags) on my pole barn and they were all gone in a week or so. No more crawling ants. It was amazing as I thought I would have to hire a exterminating company and pay big bucks. There are no more ants, not even stragglers and it's been a couple of months now!! Cost me around 75.00 and I don't even know how much an exterminator would have cost, but I think in the hundreds if not a thousands. HAPPY and Ant Free in Michigan===== BY THE WAY, I put this powder in a tall plastic Jar, drilled holes in the top of it and used it as a shaker to apply around my house and pole barn----worked great and cost me nothing as it was a plastic jug that had pretzels in it which I already ate!

Worked as planned.
Fleas hitched a ride from a friends house to ours and resulted in an infestation. Not wanting to turn our house into a hazmat site or chance survivors mutating to be resistant to insecticide (A trait insects have) I decided to use an old school method I've used in the past on rental properties for other pests with positive results. Every time I vacuumed after spraying (every other day) the bag was heavy with flea corpses.Boric acid kills in two ways.1) It breaks down the insects outer shell / skeleton, and dries them out. 2) Insects eat the product when grooming themselves and dry from the inside out. Eliminate or reduce water sources. You should start seeing results within a couple days to a week BUT, keep in mind you have to be aggressive and persistent; depending on the type of insect and its life cycle/s it can take anywhere from 2 - 6 weeks before pests are completely gone. You will need a good sprayer I used a Chapin 1 gallon pump sprayer. You will also need to vacuum and clean your daily. Remove or reduce any water sources.1) VACUUM THOROUGHLY BEFORE SPRAYING.2) In a bucket Mix 3 cups per gallon hot (NOT BOILING) water mix till everything is dissolved. This will help in product getting deep into the carpet. Mix only enough you can spray before the solution cools as it can clog the sprayer.3) Spray the carpet wall to wall, until damp. No need to soak carpets as boric acid is active when dry. Test on furniture (hidden fabric) to make sure it wont stain anything. Keep in mind that spray will dry to a whitish film on solid surfaces that can be cleaned after insects are gone or left behind to prevent re-infestation. Solid floors apply a light dusting or stream spray along the baseboards just enough to make wet. DO the same for cabinets and other hiding places.4) Make sure to completely rinse your sprayer after using with hot water. If the sprayer starts to clog while using hot water will clear it out.5) You will have to be aggressive with house keeping (vacuuming, dishes, etc.)6) DECLARE VICTORY!!

Treat with care as you apply to the area that you want to cover
Package contained exactly what it described it had, it gave a lot of warnings which is good because boric acid could really do you a number unless you're handling it properly. You should also not inhale it as it is a fine powder you need to get it into a container that will allow you to spread it evenly over the area that you're wanting to cover. It does great at killing roaches and will get most crawling insects out of the area that you're spreading the powder on just do it on a clear day no rain and no wind.

Wish I’d found this sooner – finally no more roaches!
I regret not discovering boric acid for roaches earlier. I’ve tried every spray and gel bait out there, and all of them failed. In desperation, I decided to DIY my own insecticide. I asked an AI for advice, and it gave me a homemade roach killer recipe that included boric acid. Honestly, I didn’t care about the sugar or potato part – I thought, if boric acid can kill roaches at the source, why not just sprinkle it everywhere? So I bought two large bags of boric acid and dusted my floors and kitchen counters – even the heavy infestation areas. Yes, the AI warned me that boric acid is toxic and not meant for widespread use, but I didn’t care. Roaches had driven me crazy.I started at 7 PM (since roaches come out at night). The next morning I cleaned up a bit, but the powder wasn’t easy to remove, so I didn’t get it all. On day three, I started seeing dead roaches. By day seven, there were dead roaches everywhere. I applied the powder on May 8, and today (May 24) – not a single roach in sight. I even checked at night with the lights on, because that’s when I used to see them scattering everywhere. Now? Nothing. I’m so happy. Now I only dust a little in the corners to keep any new roaches from surviving. Highly recommend.
