Love at First Sight!
Anyone in nursing/healthcare can tell you sometimes stethoscopes have been borrowed to not ever been seen again. We are all given a heads up to make sure our names are on them, plus they are very expensive, especially the one that I have. My goal is to become an ER nurse, then Flight Nurse, then ARNP Flight Nurse so I have been set on individualizing my stethoscope ever since I designed and ordered her during nursing school. My mom was dx with stage IV gastrointestinal cancer which had metastasized into bone cancer within weeks of me starting nursing school so right away she became my first patient and what a learning experience it was. Purple was my mom's favorite color and in honor of her, my first patient and my life bringer, the stem of my stethoscope is purple. Also during this time my favorite professor, who explained what different labs meant and other terminologies meant and also always had a listen ear. She always checked up on me, she looked out for me and advocated for me during a difficult time when I needed it. She also always seemed to know when I needed her support and encouragement the most by sending me a professor friendly message telling me to keep my head up or great job on an exam. She and I came up with a saying that I would repeat during difficult times. It became a mantra all throughout nursing school, especially after a car accident that has left me with a traumatic brain injury."Beast Mode" meaning be the beast that I am. Just like the lioness who is the strength and leaders in the jungle. Mild mannered until we must call to action. Just like we nurses are! Me, being me, I added, "Beast: Bad A** Nurse," because nurses are bad a**es, in a kind, caring, and compassionate way. In her honor and in honor of a student and professor relationship I will always hold dear to my heart I had in inscribed on the bell of my stethoscope. So, obviously, much like my tattoos, I do not add just anything to my stethoscope. I have looked for a while now for just the correct thing that matches my individuality to identify my stethoscope. I am a lover of many cultures and also enjoy educating others about different cultures. There is a lot of sadness going on right now towards certain people. My Wu Lou will be an amazing conversation piece as well! I know that education is power and that knowledge of others is how people learn to not fear each other. I respect and love Feng Shui as well as am a practicing follower. My Wu Lou is perfect is so many ways! Arrived in great condition and in the time it was promised, I am pretty sure it arrived early!Once I am able to work again and back to work (and even not working) my Wu Lou will absorb the negativity that can develop, especially in the ER, and will aide and guide me as I care for my patients. The connection piece which wraps around my stethoscope is tight (pictured) so I do not have to worry about it coming off. It is long enough that if I need to (if a patient my grab it and try to use it as a weapon) I can tuck it into my undershirt. I have faith that it will not break off harm my patients as it dangles above them while performing patient assessments, blood pressures, etc. However, for safety purposes, I will have to try this out to make sure. I also know my Wu Lou will ensure my stethoscope returns to me if a doc ever needs to borrow it for something. It is also pretty light weight. The five Chinese coins signify protection from harm and danger while also attracting luck and wealth at the same time. These will come in handy as nurses can be put into dangerous situations at times, especially in the ER, and we all can use some luck...especially when helping severely injured and/or ill patients. It is against ethical codes and I would not ever accept money or anything from patients...I will definitely accept a great paying position which I absolutely love, a paycheck, raises, promotions, etc. from my employer! πππ―ππ₯°ππΊπ»πΊπ―Now I feel like my stethoscope is absolutely complete! All that I have left is to be able to finally recover from this TBI so I can get back on these frontlines!Thank you for reading my review!

Small but well made
I like feng shui items and they are nice to give as gifts. This item is a little smaller than I thought it would be. it is sturdy though and easy to add to a keychain.

Good Decoration
While labeled as a key chain, you can also hang this up around the house for Feng Shui purposes. It is presentable in the package it arrived in.
