I bought this set because I was tired of burning through wood vs cutting through wood. A co worker has used these and swears by them. Upon the delivery of the set I knew I would have to return it without even taking it to work. The case is sorely inadequate for daily use. I would say it is slightly better than a wet paper bag. I work in high end custom homes and the last thing I want to happen is the latch or hinge fail and these hole saws spill and damage a hardwood floor. It's not a matter of "if" but when something like that would happen. Also: they boast about being able to stack two hole saws on the arbor in the event you need to enlarge a previously drilled hole. What they don't tell you is that arbor is a separate purchase. I found that rather low to not make that more clear. Even with that I would be willing to re purchase if they offered a carry case worthy of an expensive hole saw set.

I own an HVAC company. We drill a lot of large holes through interior and exterior walls. We had a job that had cement board siding on the house. Conventional hole saws were just burning up trying to drill through. If we did get through it took forever and was super loud.Someone suggested this brand of hole saws for what we were trying to do. Wow what a difference. We drill through the cement board like it was plywood. These things drill FAST and afterwards you can easily pop the plug out of the hole saw. Saves us a ton of time.Only downfaults that I can see is: I don't think you cab drill holes in metal with them. I don't think that they handle screws and nails too well. Lastly the case is kind of chintzy. I can see it easy getting cracked or the latches failing on it.

Don't plan on using this for wood, it will work but its not designed for it. However, it cuts through everything with ease .. I drilled through concrete hardy plank siding like it was soft wood. Really great quality. Highly recommended.
