Not legal to sell in UK!!!!!!
Firstly, we bought this hair drier specifically because the listing says 500 watts. It is not! It says on it 850w. The only reason we chose this one is to run it from a 500w standalone power station (Jackery).Secondly, it arrived with a US plug fitted and an unfused travel adapter plug. This illegal in the UK as it is not fused (especially for a product used when you have wet hands!), and dangerous because the US plug does not have plastic at the top of the prongs like a UK plug, so if partly unplugged these are LIVE. If you buy one of these then make sure somebody competent cuts this off and fits a proper plug.Why would any 220v electrical product have a plug that is only used in counties with a 110v supply?
