A solid well-made well-functioning fan
This is a good fan. I had its predecessor for years till it finally failed. The Lasko 3520 Cyclone 20-Inch Pivoting Floor Fan throws a lot of air, but has simple variable settings if you want less power. The housing is solid and stable. Like its predecessor model, it looks easy to clean. There is no diminution in quality of build between the new fan and its predecessor model that I can tell. Unlike most of what is on offer in the market, this is made in U.S.A.

Lasko 3520 Cyclone 20" Pivoting Floor Fan
The Lasko 3520 Cyclone 20" Pivoting Floor Fan is the quietest fan I have ever owned. On low you can't tell it's running unless you're right next to it. High is louder but if you were used to the old fans I have had, it's still quiet. It moves air very well. I'm considering a second one.

Only lasted a year..
I bought the 3520 in Nov 2008, and that lasted over 10 years . this one just stopped after a year, and was extremely noisy . this one was also much lighter in weight, so they may have used inferior materials . all that being said, in feb 2019, I bought the Lasko 3300 Wind Machine, and it's been fine . the first 3520 was an outstanding fan, strong and durable . this one just wasn't a good fan . I guess that it's just the luck of the draw, if you get a good one or a bad one.

Works So Well!
This fan works so well, it’s almost too powerful! LOL! It’s made all the difference in this summer heat wave. Highly recommend- worth every penny

Lasted one year with daily eight-hour use
This was my second Lasko Cyclone, so clearly I like the product. Sadly, this one only lasted a year, but I guess for a reasonably priced item that was used every single night that’s a pretty good deal. (I guess I’m just sad because my first one lasted quite a few years, so it lost one star due to comparison.) Did a great job of circulating air, but my favorite aspect was its soft but steady white noise while sleeping. No weird hums or subtle crazy-making tones like some other fans. So I just ordered another.

Good air mover
Good air mover. They have improved the rotary switch which was somewhat a weak point in previous versions of this fans. My wife stole my fan during a heat wave. This is the replacement for a good fan.

This fan is extremely noisy, even on the lowest setting. I am returning.

Does its job well
Had one of these for 24 years and used it regularly before it finally burned out. Was pleased to find them still available and up to the previous snuff.
