This is my second wash with this shampoo and I quite like it. I do find that it lathers quite nicely despite what some of the other reviews say. My hair is soft, shiny, and feels nice. I can’t say that it has worked any better or worse than any standard shampoos I have tried before though. It has been quite gentle on my skin though which is nice. I only condition my hair once every 5 washes. I found the first time I used this shampoo (I didn’t condition) it made my hair quite tangly. But that shouldn’t matter if you condition. My only complaint is how expensive it is for how small of a bottle. I was surprised at how small the bottle was and I thought it would be bigger. But I understand that is the price you pay for small batch, quality made products.

Woks well, nicely scented

I have oily hair but a dry scalp. I have tried everything from $1.99 to $50 shampoo and had just about given up on finding a solution to manage both issues. Then I found Tree to Tub. I was hesitant to try it with it being a relatively new product made from a seemingly odd source. I decided to take the plunge with Amazon backing it (I figured if it was terrible then I would just return it) and I am so glad I did. I bought the awakening peppermint (refreshing!) and lavender (calming) shampoo the first go-round. Then I decided to try to save some money and go back to a cheaper shampoo. BAD IDEA! After a few months of an itchy scalp, I bought more shampoo (peppermint and unscented this time) and the lavender conditioner. For someone who also has scent-enduced migraines, it is impairative that the smells not be overwhelming. I have not experienced any issues with Tree to Tub yet. It took my hair about a week to adjust to the new shampoo (read: ponytails) but afterward my hair regain its shine, strength, and no more itchy/dry scalp! The only thing I wish they would change is stop sending the soapberries with the product. At first I thought it was cool and I was convinced I would use them. Then they started piling up and my dog got ahold of one. Now I just throw them away. I wish the manufacturer would just keep them to make more product.

Okay so I have the most ridiculous sensitive scalp. Over my lifetime I have tried so many alternatives to the medicated shampoo I have to use. I see adverts for all the top brands offering beautiful smelling shampoos that leave your hair glossy and soft ...not for me they just leave me itching painful scabs on my scalp. Sometimes I am lucky and find a paraben and sls free one that seems to work (as I never give up trying) and for a wash or two it works and then all of a sudden it doesn't so I was more than excited to try this shampoo. I am not a huge fan of mint smells so unfortunately the scent was not a winner for me but it's not particularly strong and I couldn't smell it once rinsed so that was okay. The shampoo doesn't really lather a lot but and here it is BUT it does clean my hair and it does leave it soft. I tend not to use conditioner as my hair has a tendency towards being oily (I know dry sensitive scalp and oily hair- the universe hates me!) And I found my hair soft and I was able to brush it easily. So I have to say this is a winner for me !

i found this brand on a list of hair products for people with acne-prone skin. let me tell you, i have had a lifetime of acne and until now, the only thing that helped reduce it was a ketogenic diet (happy biproduct). this shampoo (& accompanying conditioner) are doing wonders for my skin!!! it does take a little bit more product than usual to lather, but i am ok with that because of the results i've gotten! i do notice that i have to wash my hair daily, which i am not used to (coming from devacurl brand "non-poo" hair prosucts). also, the mint scent fades once my hair dries, which is ok. i am using a few other products in conjunction, so if anyone wants to give them a try to see if their stubborn acne will finally calm down, here they are- - theraplex clearlotion right onto my face after i shower, don't dry off the skin (it needs to mix with some water) - dr. jart cicapair derma green solution to help as a barrier during the day, i have even left it on for 16 hours without reapplying and have had minimal pore clogging - body merry breakthrough night cream before bed, and it's also nice on my dry hands too!
