Is the carry case waterproof? I'm scared it's fabric and after I use it, it'll be gross with urine!

Alas, no it is not waterproof. The silicone urination device does an excellent job of letting most of the urine drips slide out, but a few do remain. I rinse it with water, if possible, and dry with a bit of tissue. They really should make a waterproof pouch though.

does this device work for men?

Yes, it was developed for women & most men would not need such a device but if they need one yes it would work as an extension for them

Is the pee cup for women suitable for big women and my eight-year-old daughter?

One size suits all. The struggle for a plus sized woman is being able to reach the appropriate area and hold it in place while peeing.
