These lanterns will be useful when we lose power due to storms (which happens often). The lanterns feels sturdy but light, very bright , can be hanged or attached to metallic surfaces (they have three magnets on their base). Because they are light, they can be attached horizontally, such as on a fridge door, and they will hold very well. Each lantern uses 3 AAA battery (included). There is no on/off switch; the light will turn on when you simply pull open the cover.

AT this price, nothing I've seen beats these stylish lanterns for emergency or utility lighting. I gave 4 stars for duribility as soon as I handled and tested them. Nothing flimsy about them. AND BRIGHT! I immediately ordered 4 more for myself and 4 more as gifts.

I gave all our children and grandchildren one of these lanterns as a stocking stuffer this year mainly so everyone would have one in case of a blackout. The older grandchildren said they would put them in their cars in case they were stranded, and of the others would use them when they went camping. These lanterns are very versatile and the magnets on the bottom hold it well in any position. I bought a total of 16 and am very glad I did. They were a hit with all.

Why pay the high prices of products as seen on TV. These lanterns work just as good. Bright, compact and lightweight. Ideal if you lose power - you can see everything.

These lights are so helpful when power goes out! They are easy to use and you can set them around in small spaces to grab when needed! Well pleased with them!

The lanterns that work are great. One is a dud so that is frustrating but for the ones that work they are good.

These are really bright and very reasonable for the quantity. I am using them for a tent themed slumber party and wanted one for each girl. I did notice they are very hard to open and close unlike others I have purchased elsewhere.
