& I particularly like its 6
I purchased this adapter after the original broke at the weak point where wire meets adapter & have used the new one for almost 2 weeks. So far, this replacement is working very well, & I particularly like its 6.6 ft cord. It sure beats using costly batteries, too! However, be forewarned that the brightness of the tiny blue light on this adapter, shown in 4th photo, is commensurate with the overly bright face of Brookstone's Tranquil Moments 12 Sound Portable Travel Sleep Therapy White Noise machine. Fortunately with the adapter, there's a quick remedy: black electrician's tape wrapped around the adapter several times easily blocked the annoyingly bright, blue light.

AT LAST!!!
Excellent! Had a calming noise machine for which I had lost the plug-in power converter. I was delighted to see this as the brand of the machine was part of the item title. Works beautifully and has a nice long cord which makes it easy to place the machine anywhere you want. The only drawback is a bright blue power light, but this is easily solved by putting a small piece of electrical over it. An excellent product.
