HEATED THROW

Fluffy! Absolutely top tier.
Prior to this I had the herringbone grey blanket, which was also what I'd call top tier. But, someone gave that blanket away in a bundle of free to collect stuff by mistake, come the cold weather and suddenly it dawns on us that it's gone and it was last seen in the same room as the bundles of free gear. So, after a lot of back and forth we decided it was just so good good despite the expense (which has gone up!) we can't be without it so let's just buy same one again. Given that the faux-furr option was on sale for just 5 quid more than the herringbone I decided to go for that instead. So, I can say furr is exactly the same as the herringbone, the furr is nice and soft feeling with a cream satin-esque lining on the inside, but both heat up equally well and both feel identical in build/quality. The internal heating cables are barely noticable, sure its slightly more stiff than a normal blanket but it's flexible and comfortable & heats up quickly and has more than enough range to be too hot even for lovers of warmth. One thing I will say is, if you have pets/pet hair then maybe the Herringbone model is the better choice as you can run over it with a lint roller, this furr is going to be a nightmare to rid of pet hairs & the cream lining on the inside is another potential dirt magnet, and really you get this heated up and even your neighbours pets will be knocking on the door for a cuddle. In hindsight, I'd probably have gone herringbone again for that reason but I'm not going to slate the furr at all, it's bloomin' lovely! - but the herringbone is just as lovely and slightly more practical.

Would make an amazing gift!
I bought this for my mum to help her keep warm now the weather is getting colder. I went for this one because of the beautiful colour and peacock feathers design. Mum is over the moon with the blanket! Very easy to use, warms up fast and also looks wonderful. It's very cosy without the heat on too, so I think this throw will be worth its weight in good this winter. Lovely quality too. I think the price is a little steep in comparison with some of the other blankets available, however it's much nicer to look at! I hope it lasts longer than the previous one - time will tell on that. It's machine washable which is good as the little dog also enjoys the new throw!

Lovely, cosy throw
My first ever heated blanket so don’t have any comparison. It is luxury - lovely faux fur fabric (does shed a bit) it’s super warm and being able to adjust the temp is good. The only criticism is I can feel the wires inside - if the lining (reverse side fabric) was thicker they might be less obvious. I work from home and bought it to keep warm at my desk but find it a bit cumbersome to move around so it’s living on the sofa - I might get something small and lighter for my office chair. A hit with the whole family and looks great. I haven’t tried washing it yet so can’t comment on that.

One of the best heated blankets.
A lovely looking, soft and fluffy, warm, and cosy heated blanket. Definitely a life saver when it came to those cold nights during the winter when I was moving houses, and saved me lots of money on heating! Now it lives on the couch and it's amazing how well it works. Heats up fast and stays warm with zero issues. The controller is very user friendly being easy to read and understand the settings. Might be a bit pricy but you get what you pay for and this is definitely one of the best heated blankets I've used. Would recommend to anyone!

Don't reckon you'll regret it....Cosy, toasty, and no central heating yet!
waffled a bit between 4 and 5 star review; here's why....firstly this blanket is super pretty -- straight off a took a pic and sent it to my bestie! -- so there's that. I use it all the time--it IS a bit thin as some reviewers have cited, and I love to feel super snug so I have another fluffer on top of it. I should probably read more as to whether that is advisable, but so far so good! I don't think that its structure effects how well it works, however, so I've ignored that aspect other than to list it as an attribute. I love the settings on the controller, and once used to how it's situated on the blanket (it has to go somewhere, right?) I find it clever, practical, and tailorable to however I am feeling. It's allowed me to not--read this--NOT put on the heating yet, and we are into the new year! Also think there is a chap somewhere below in the reviews who said you can set it higher to start, then once you're warm, turn it down to maintain, which has proved really great advice (thank you!) The ONE thing that I have found that genuinely might have tipped it into the 4 star range was that I find the lower temperature settings fairly useless. In that I don't feel much or any heat at all. But I've decided to chalk that up to the fact that I am a cold soul and not hold it against the blanket lol. There are other blankets out there that likely function the same etc and might cost less, but am hoping this one lasts me serveral years and the look and feel of it in my home was enough to make me one happy and not-so-frosty bunny that I bought it.

Too nice for Mum to actually use
Bought this electric blanket for my elderly mum after her old one gave up during the first sign of winter. This one? Bigger, softer, warmer, and, apparently, too posh to sleep on. “It’s too nice, I don’t want to ruin it,” she said, while carefully folding it and placing it back in the box like it was fine china. The material is lovely, soft but sturdy, and the coverage is generous. Fits her bed perfectly, and actually reaches the corners, unlike her old one that gave up halfway across the mattress. Functionality is simple enough, even for someone who still calls the remote “the clicker.” Controls are easy, heats up fast, and the warmth is consistent across the whole thing. Only real complaint she had was that it slides around a bit on the mattress, especially since it goes over rather than under the fitted sheet, she would’ve preferred one that stays tucked underneath. Colour’s neutral, so it doesn’t clash with anything, not that she’s letting it out of the box long enough to find out. Material feels premium, which may be part of the problem, when something’s too good, mums assume it's for guests or royalty. All in all, a great product. Now I just have to convince her it’s meant to be used, not admired like a museum exhibit.
