This company misrepresents this wiring in their description as “copper”. This is very cheap copper clad aluminium junk wire. Plus the coating on the wiring is some kind of vinyl product that is not suitable for insulation in higher voltage applications. Aluminium is dangerous stuff when you’re dealing with higher amperage applications. Deceptive practices from this company.

I used this wire to run supply to my 12V DC to 120V AC inverter. The shielding melted and shorted. As others have said the shielding is basically transparent and is not heat-resistant. Don't risk it, buy the more expensive pure copper wire for this type of application.

The shielding on the wire seems very thin and light weight. The positive shielding is see through. I was hoping for a little heavier duty. I hope it's fine.

Works great well made. But if it's important the black cable is really a brownish color

Bought to make power leads for inverter. Great delicate wire but its crimp only. Dont sweat on the insulation is NOT heat resistant

Apparently aluminum wire is not safe for wiring up a home/RV electrical system.Big mistake to have purchased this. And of course I didn't find this out until too late to return the wires.
