So my cat, Thorin Oakenshield, is a very sensitive baby and is quickly over stimulated-which he will deny. But, he has a lusciously thick coat of fur and a heavy shedding problem- again he will deny this. His majesty hasn't liked any of the other pet combs and brushes we have tried and fights my hair brush as if its Smog himself! In my search to find SOMETHING he could tolerate, I saw the ad for this pet brush on Instagram and searched for it here. It's reasonably priced, easy to hold, and gentle, even if I happen to brush little rougher than I intend. Best of all, Thorin doesn't try to fight me or eat the brush! Bonus, his big sister, Narcisa, loves it too!

This cat brush, although it was not as described on the package, was enjoyed by the cat.The package said "the bristles are fine bent wires" and "when you're done brushing, simply click the button and the bristles retract back into the brush, making it super simple to remove all the hair from the brush."#1 bristles are are plastic and #2 there is NO button to push to retract the bristles back into the brush making it super simple to remove the the hair.

The media could not be loaded.  So it's true that this didn't bother my kitty. But that's probably because it did... Absolutely nothing. It might work better on a long haired cat that needs detangling, but hopefully as you can see in the video, on shorter hair it just sort of leaves lines in the fur without doing anything for reducing shedding or removing dander/dirt.

Good little brush for normal haired pets. But didn't work well on long haired.

The only problem I have is that it is a knock-off product. There should be a button to release the hair so you don't have to try and pull it all out with your hands as the real original one has which should have been stated in description. My 3 rescue kittens love it and the price was reasonable. But it is a pain trying to get all the hair out by hand after brushing each kitten 1 at a time. Would reccomend for the price and it works well

The media could not be loaded.  I have three cats, one quite Long and thick coated and two short haired and they love it and allow me to comb them for a fair time purring away. It is very comfortable to hold and the prongs are claw shaped non rigid and definitely non scratch. When I have used other combs their fur flies everywhere, this one collects the fur before it has a chance to fly and have certainly noticed an improvement on shedding and their coats are soft and glossy.The product itself is very Comfortable to use, easy to clean and does an excellent job. Will recommend to my friends.

Welp, I gotta tell you....... This works. I don't usually go for new thinking things on the internet, but I have a cat who would rather not be touched... Unless of course she initiates it. Well, she will go into the room where I keep this comb and lay down and show me her belly so I will brush her! I'm flabbergasted.It's very light weight and flexible. I even use it on the carpet too clean up the spot where she flops down to get brushed. I'm getting another one.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this brush worked! I used it on our long haired cat that does not like most brushes because they pull on her fur and cause pain. When I got it out of the package, I really thought it seemed very flimsy and there was no way it was going to do any kind brushing with her long fur. But once I got the hang of using it, and got her to hold still long enough to brush her, it actually worked perfectly, and she liked it. It stayed on top of her fur, didn’t pull at all but still managed to get some of her shed! Now don’t get me wrong - this is not a heavy duty brush for getting out mats, but it does nicely to keep her fur tamed down!
