I have one that has stopped spraying. It is about half full. Have take right angled nozzle off and cleaned. But still not spraying?

I had the same problem but I replaced it with a nozzle from a previous one I replaced it for and it works alright now. I think it is a fault with the nozzles.

On the settings switch do the different sized symbols refer to length of time between sprays or quantity sprayed?

Is this animal friendly?

Have used this with our 2 dogs and cat over last few years. Never any issues with either, cat goes up and sniffs occasionally being curious. But never had any problem with it.

Is it meant to squeal like a cat being strangled every time it pumps out? 🤣

Try a bit of crease on the top of the spray can button. The only place the squealing can come from?
