Wellness Simple Natural Wet Canned Limited Ingredient Dog Food, Turkey & Potato, 12.5-Ounce Can (Pack of 12)

I ordered 2 cases of the turkey and potato for my dog who eats the dry version of this food regularly. It's great food that agrees with his sensitive stomach. The price was great ($23.09 per case) and the cans arrived in perfect condition with a generous expiration date (labeled "best by 16August 2021", received in March 2019). The only weirdness was the same-day delivery service (Dynamex) for some reason left the box sitting on the ground at the end of my driveway instead of on the porch. I was very pleased to be able to get this with free same-day delivery on a Sunday though, because my dog was recovering from surgery and we could not get him to eat his normal kibble. The price at the local pet stores was $12 per case more, so it was a great buy. You might just want to watch carefully with the same day deliveries. I guess if you say you need it that day they expect you to be home and watching for it.

I found this dog food because my dog has severe allergies to a lot of food that is currently on the market. She cannot have anything has fish, beef, pork, poultry. A lot of foods use salmon oil or fish oil’s to add omega fatty acids to the food. This is one of the few that do not. The ingredients are extremely simple which is what I like the best about this food every two it’s important that when you get Your dog tested for allergies you take your time and look at the ingredients. My dog absolutely gobbles it down and loves every bite! She also uses the dry food as a companion to the wet. Be aware if you have a smaller dog the size of each pallet is pretty large. I have a German Shepherd which have absolutely no issue eating this food, but I would imagine for smaller dogs it would be pretty large for small dogs. But great dog food for German Shepherd or any dogs that have allergies!

This review is for the Lamb & Oatmeal flavor.I ordered this dog food because after months of searching for something that didn't have an ingredient my dog was allergic to, I finally found this. Lamb and pork are the only animal proteins he's not allergic to, and oatmeal is one of the only grains he isn't allergic to. How fortuitous this food exists, because I was about to lose my mind/give up hope. Wellness is a good brand with a good reputation, and the ingredient list for this food is better than the cheaper brands, let's be honest. My dog, who is one of the few dogs on earth who is a bit of a picky eater and doesn't automatically inhale any food you put in front of him, likes it. What more could I ask for?

My 7 1/2 yr old pup had started incessantly licking his paws to the point of concern and annoyance on my part. I purchased medicated wipes for pets and went to the vet and nothing was working. Sometimes he would lick and chew to the point of being raw. I read the review in searching for a dog food yo eliminate allergies and lack of nutrition from other foods. I had been giving him vet recommend food all along but couldn’t figure out how to stop the licking and chewing. My pup has been dating his for a little over 2 weeks along with the canned food by this brand (I mix them in portions) In two weeks he has stopped the licking and chewing and his coat is silky and I am so pleased. It is so emotional and difficult in figuring out what to do with your animal when they cannot tell you what is wrong except thru behavior. So thankful for this product and the price point is reasonable considering other brands are at least 20$ more. My small dog is very picky and has a sensitive stomach. Most foods make him sick, but he has actually doubled his weight since we started feeding him this. The one issue I have is that I have bought two cases of watered down dog food from amazon that I had to exchange. What is going on with the watered down dog food? Also, the food could be boxed better as I often get 25$ bent cans.

Our dog, loves this product. The delivery was on time and in a different location than shown on the porch, glad it wasn't taken.

My 10-year-old Chihuahua has had irritable bowel syndrome and a true gluten allergy since birth. He suffered greatly until we put him on California Natural, on which he did very well, but when that company was sold to a large corporation we decided to try something else. He did fairly well on a couple of other brands over the years, but would still have large amounts of gas and diarrhea, progressing to bloody diarrhea (yes, he was fully vet-evaluated) at times, particularly when stressed, so I did some homework and decided to try the Wellness Simple formula. He does extremely well on this food and likes it very much; he gets half canned and half kibble, as he likes some crunchiness in his diet. He's had minimal gas and no diarrhea episodes at all since he's been on Wellness. For dogs with sensitive stomachs I just can't recommend this food highly enough. As another customer has commented, it's truly a lifesaver!

I have a 6 month old Australian Cattle Dog. At 8 weeks, he was brought home to us and had problems from the beginning. It started with him, refusing to eat the dry food the breeder sent with him. After numerous trips to the vet and sad weight loss, we FINNALY figured out our pup has a very sensitive stomach coupled with picky eater syndrome (I'm sure some of you know exactly what that is). We tried Boiled chicken and rice, we tried Call of the Wild dry and wet food, Blue Buffalo, and countless others, and our pup would just look at it and walk away. Finally I stumbled upon this food in Petsmart and picked up, and, lo and behold our little demon LOVED it. We have never seen him actually get excited about food time and to actually clean his bowl was almost shocking! He has been eating this food for the past 4 months and he is finally growing, his coat is lovely and his tummy is so much better than before. I am not that happy that it is getting harder to find on Amazon, but this is a product that I would pay in store prices for.
