The ML-L3 IR Remote works well with my Nikon D90. It is small and easy to carry in your pocket. The one I purchased was not a true Nikon product (the "real" one was out of stock at the time) and was very inexpensive so I was a bit concerned whether it would actually work or not. It worked well and I am very satisfied with it (especially for the price). I would recommend anyone with a Nikon D90 get one. The ML-L3 did not, however, come with setup instructions.Here is how the D90 camera needs to be adjusted to accept the remote signal from the ML-L3: 1)First locate the advanced button on the top of the camera to the right of the screen (it is just above the "AF" button). It has a graphic of a remote controller just above the button. 2) While pressing the button described above, rotate the rear thumb adjuster until the graphic for a remote control appears in the screen.FYI: If you want to have the camera start the self timer then instead select the graphic with a remote control & a timerWhen you are done using the remote, you will need to adjust the graphic back to your normal selection such as "S" for the shutter button on the camera to function again.I assume this setup is similar on other Nikon products.To know more, I would recommend going to [...]
