What is a Yagi antenna best for?

A Yagi antenna is ideal for long-range, directional signal pickup. It performs best when you know the direction of the broadcast towers and can point the antenna toward them, delivering strong reception in one primary direction.

Does it need to be pointed in a specific direction?

Yes. A Yagi antenna is directional, meaning it must be aimed toward the broadcast towers for optimal reception. Use a signal strength meter or the FCC map for guidance.

Will it work with multiple TVs?

Yes. You can use a splitter after the antenna, but each split may reduce signal strength. For multiple TVs, we recommend adding an amplifier.

Is an amplifier needed?

An amplifier can improve signal strength if you have a long cable run (over 70 ft), are using a splitter for multiple TVs, or are in a weak signal area. This antenna works well both with and without an amplifier.

Yes. It is constructed with UV-resistant materials and is designed for long-term outdoor use.
