Grandma is in assisted living and cannot lift a heavy water bottle. This ine hooks to thw side of her bed and works perfectly with a long straw.

Great for bedridden or people with gripping problems. Container is being used for a dementia patient on hospice. I noticed some talking about the lid being tight fitting but I consider that a plus for this situation. As far as cleaning the tube, I used a bit of dawn dish soap and soaked the tube in a bowl with a C pap tube and nebulizer tube and rinsed all thoroughly. I plan to order a second container as back up. Easily snapped securely onto hospital bed.

It works well. You have to blow the standing water back into the cup when done because the straw is so long that some water remains in the straw after the last drink.

Cleaned bottle before first use. Filled it with water however when I started to use it to drink out of, my delicious purified water tasted like plastic….yuk!! I gave it a few more tries but the results were the same.

My husband has trouble gripping a cup because of peripheral neuropathy and this hydrant bottle makes it possible for him to drink a lot of water easily. The bottle is big and it comes with a clip so the bottle can hang on a railing or the back of a folding chair next to the bed/chair he's in. The hose is long enough and the diameter big enough that he has no trouble drinking. Very helpful!

Bought this for my mom as she was battling ALS and it was a game changer!! She didn't have to try to hold and grip a bottle or straw as she lost the use of her right hand. We were able to hang on the back of her chair and the straw is long enough that it could lay on her chest and she could easily pick up and drink when she wanted without having to ask for assistance. It gave her some freedom that she was strong to lose!

This set up works well for what is was designed for...bed ridden or wheelchair bound people. It is not sturdy enough for a modified application. The clip is the kind you find on convention name tags...it's not strong enough to hold the heavy tube upright. Mine leaked all over my couch. I had to start placing it in more and more and more ridged, wedged positions. It truly needs to be hooked to something for stability. My headboard is too thick for the handle gap. The tubing is thick and awkward and tends to flop around. The mouth piece I got had no opening in it and I had to slit it open with a very thin scalpel. It's a cool idea, but it needs some work or additional accessories to make it more versitile/universal. This is wayyyy too expensive for what it is.

Hands free. So grateful for this. Hooked it on to my night stand drawer n could stay hydrated wile being up all night breastfeeding. Can’t imagine how ppl could do without it.

It is a very important item from Health point of view because the person who is to take water or any drink from this bottle is weak enough, and he could be adversely affected with poor quality plastic used in this product. . I would highly recommend to the manufacturer that they may increase the price, but they should use the high-quality material.

Product as described. Perfect as an aide to daily living. Quality super. Would suggest in instructions that a small cut/ hole needs to be made into blue bite piece to allow water flow as some may not understand that. Works beautifully!
