UPDATED Review (8/7/23). Contacted Seller (Smonet Support) and they did an incredible job responding and resolving the issue right away. They worked with me, to replace the lock and the new lock and version (The one in the site now) is working perfectly. I understand that sometimes there are things out of our control, especially when it comes to hardware like this one. Thanks a lot Smonet. I am very please with this lock and features, so I was glad I was able to keep same brand.------Lock worked fine for about 2 years, then a few days ago, it just stopped working. It lights up and everything, but it won't unlock or lock anymore, not with fingerprint, not through the app, not working at all. It isn't the batteries, since it says 100% battery power and it shows power, plus I tested the batteries as well. It just doesn't seem to be engaging the lock mechanism anymore.I just saw another reviewer that had almost identical problem with the lock, it worked for a year or so, then stopped working. I already emailed Support for a fix today, to see if anything can be done about it, since right now, I am dead in the water, I can't use the door because of the lock. Hopefully they'll get back to me soon & resolve this issue somehow. The lock is already 2 years old, but I wasn't really expecting issues so soon. I was expecting for it to last you way longer than that. I'll update this review if anything changes. Hopefully Support gets back to me and some easy fix gets it working again.

I've been using the SMONET Smart Lock for over a year now, and at some point, it stopped working. I reached out to customer support and I'm impressed with how Jackson addressed my issue. I received a replacement within a few days.Here are some of the things I like about the SMONET Smart Lock:It's easy to install. The instructions were clear and concise, and I had the lock installed in about 15 minutes.It's versatile. You can unlock the lock with a fingerprint, a keypad code, and a physical key.It's secure. The lock uses 128-bit encryption.It's convenient. I can lock and unlock my door from anywhere with the app. This is especially helpful when I'm coming home from work and don't have my keys with me.Overall, I'm really happy with the SMONET Smart Lock. It's a great way to add convenience and security to your home.PROS:The keypad is backlit so that you can see the numbers even in the dark.The lock has a built-in battery, so you don't have to worry about running out of power.The app is easy to use and has many features, such as the ability to create temporary codes for guests, track lock activity, and receive notifications when the door is unlocked.CONS:The fingerprint reader is not very accurate. Sometimes it fails to recognize my fingerprint.If you're looking for a smart lock that is easy to use, secure, and convenient, I highly recommend the SMONET.

I bought the lock for my patio access door. Installation was easy until I hit a snag. The small cable that connects the front keypad to the inside part white the battery pack was defective. If routed through the small round hole as indicated in the instructions it bends so much that when the inside part is bolted together it losses power. I tried putting it together many ways without success. I reached out to customer service and they were super responsive and I guess this is a known issue as they sent me a replacement unit right away. I found that if the cable is routed through the higher part of the mounting plate it does not bend as much and works fine. Now is all working ok and so far it’s been two weeks working without issues. Overall very happy with the lock and very impressed with the level of customer service.

Bought the first one NOV22. It was easy to install. The fingerprint feature never worked but the keycode, tag and app did.That one lasted 3 weeks before failing to lock/unlock. The deadbolt basically wouldn't move.Contacted supplier and they sent a new one.That one lasted 7 months before doing the same. The batteries need to be changed every month or so.I've contacted them again but I think these are just too cheaply made to be of worth. They're protecting your house and family. Or rather they aren't when they don't work!

We initially got this Smart Lock, so it will be easy for the nurse to come in and take care of my mother-in-law. So it allowed for a temporary pin that we could give her a then and expire. After. You know, the care period that we need to hear was over. It has many ways of access. You can use the fingerprint you can use the pin. You can use Bluetooth from your phone. Also, it does Wi-Fi. You can be in a different country and unlock or lock the door how great is that?

I have three of these locks installed on my house. They work great. The fingerprint scanner needs more than one entry per finger, but once you do multiple entries with the finger you use, it works pretty flawlessly. I had an issue with the deadbolt, but no worries, the Customer Service was great getting it replaced. I would recommend these locks.

Bought Sep 2022. Worked beautifully. Less than a year later, with no warning, it stopped working Jun 2023. There was no error in the app, app is still functioning. The lock is just dead.I sent three emails. No response. This is a front door lock, so I need to replace asap. Unacceptable.UPDATEWithin a day of posting this review, the seller responded to me for an offer of a full refund. Given that a business model wouldn’t be sustainable if everyone’s lock were to get refunded, I’m assuming my situation is the outlier.I updated to four stars because people should purchase with confidence. But I am not longer using this lock.

Love the product and the fingerprints work awesome for our family. Advertises that you can use your Google home though and you can’t without buying an additional $30 part. Other than that let’s be this and will buy again.

The lock installation started with a hiccup. The door hole for this lock was larger than the hole I had. I had to buy a jig to enlarge the hole.The rest of the installation went without a hitch, until trying ti pair the lock to the app on my phone. The online instructions as well as the app directives are a little vague. After several attempts (many days) in many different ways, I was about to send the unit back when I decided to give support a shot by sending an email.I was lucky enough to land in the hands of Jackson. He/She was very fast at replying and gave detailed instructions on how to get the lock to pair with my iPhone. Everything works as it should now. 5-star for after purchase service.

I was a little hesitant on getting this because of some reviews about the fingerprint opening option but my works fine with everyone in the family. You need to put you finger front different angles when you are setting the fingerprint option to work correctly.The only thing was hard for me was the installation as the hole in the door need it to be bigger and I had to run to the store to get the tool to do it.

It’s been few month I purchased, still works perfect. Installation is a little tricky other then that it’s beautiful tool. Does it’s job perfectly! It’s fast and quit that’s what I like the most.

Seller harassing me to change prior bad review, offering refund if I change the review 1st. Cant reachAmazon to complain.It was terrible from the beginning, terrible instructions, couldn’t get app to recognize the lock, had to manually add codes on the device, tech support didn’t help and it is awkward to teach visitors to my home how to enter their code, then when they do it wrong, it locks them out for 24 hours. I climbed in a window of my house last night up a ladder because my husband didn’t understand the peculiarity of the keypad not accepting the first couple of numbers entered Now I have to manually program it again - this will be the 4th time; takes at least 30 minutes with the stupid little manual not written by a speaker of English… Just ordered a schlage to replace the smonet. I know that Schlage is excellent and regret not paying the extra cost initially

The product looks very nice. Touch keypad works great! Lock looks amazing on the door. Easy to install. Good and quick response time from customer service rep as I had to contact them to confirm something.
