Q: Can you take out the built in tea lights?

The tea lights are fixed into a hole cut out of the bottom of each piece so that you can replace the battery easily. It looks like you can pop them out if you wanted to.

I can’t comment on the 2023 glitter color, because mine were purchased in 2021. Mine are a light gold/silver color.

Q: Are the rooftops silver or gold? Hard to tell from pictures for sure.

They are gold. I love my set. The lights inside the houses flicker like a fire. So happy with the set and for the price.
