Very Satisfied
Sounded and looked beautiful right out of the box. I quickly put some D'Addario super thins on it and that really woke it up. Sounds great plugged in too. I've wanted an Ovation since the old hairband days and I just love having this one now. It's not the same as the ones made back in the late '80s (made in China now, or at least this level is) but it's an amazing guitar and I'm more than satisfied with it.

I own many expensive, high end guitars, this Ovation being my cheapest... but despite its price I love it, it looks, sounds and plays great. The trifecta is complete.

Durable and Good Tone -- until May 14, 2016
Great looking guitar. Distinctive but good tone. I bought it so I could leave it around the house during the very dry winters here. A Taylor and a Cordoba cracked when I left them out of my humidified library. Watched Ovation manufacturer's youtube video that claimed an Ovation guitar could be left in the trunk of a car or a refrigerator and not sustain damage. Not that I'd do that but it seems a hardy claim. Just to test it before I bought another Ovation --- a nylon -- I left it in the garage for three days when the temperature dropped below 10 degrees F. Hardly even needed to be re-tuned. pretty amazing. Taking it to Italy in May. I'll report how it survives the airport handlers and changes in altitude. UPDATE: May 14, 2016 I'm in Tuscany, Italy and the neck separates from body as I'm playing this guitar which I purchased on February 23, 2016. Surprise, surprise. When I get back to the States next week, I'll see how the warranty coverage works and report back.

Great piece!
So thrilled about this. I heard poor reviews but loved the design and researched the brand. It is a beautiful and unique piece and I have enjoyed playing it. I am a classical guitarist and this is a beautiful sound. This is my first professional like guitar and I couldn’t be happier. My first ever guitar was a $50 set up from Amazon so of course I am thrilled. Good construction. Good sound. So worth the money.

Sounds great nick size is smaller tuner in guitar could be better its good for price but if you want greater sound you will need to set up higher grade. But this one will do the job

It was broke when I got it. Cracked at the bottom wanted a replacement but only could get gift card half off or refund.

Très bonne guitare, bien arrivée colis super. Pour les musiciens info : c'est une guitare qui doit être jouée avec un ampli, sans ampli le son est pauvre et terne normal vu le produit employé pour fabriquer la caisse, sauf pour s'entrainer. Mais belle guitare je la garde, je m'attendais à ces petits inconvénients.

音が凄くイイです。私はエレキギターの弦をつかってますが、大きな音もだせます。ネックが細いので手の小さな人でもコードが押さえやすいです スーパーシャローボディーも厚さが薄くてお腹が出ている私にはありがたいです。 重さも軽くてイイです。
