Are the sides of the cake pan perfectly straight? Or do they slant?

They seem to slant very slightly in at the top. However, i cut the immediate top off the cakes to stack them and the sides were perfectly straight when icing them.

Does this come with baking instructions? Like how much batter per pan and cooking times?

Yes, it does come with baking instructions. I used my pans the day they came for my grandchild's birthday cake and they worked great!

Where are these pans made?

These pans are made in Indonesia.

The picture on the box is 4 layers. Would that be using 2 pans torting each, or using 4 pans instead of 2 and not torting?

There are definitely only 2 pans. If you want 4, it's a good idea to order 2 sets because if you order 2 more later, and don't order the same brand, not all measurements are the same as in 6" wide for one brand is not the same as 6" or another.
