1. These are excellent quality chairs.2. They came packed by Amazon with a thin layer of protective packing insulation taped to them. It took quite a while to pull this stuff off but you could do it fast with scissors. The chairs themselves were stacked and loose in a giant box, yet there was no damage at all that I found.3. I received double the amount of screws needed to put the seat on (a nice problem to have).4. There are 3 pieces: the chair, the seat, and the screws5. The seat needs to be screwed on. The bottom of the seat shows no screw holes - you just have to line it up the best you can. I have no problem with this in spite of how it sounds. You will need a Phillips head screw driver.6. Vinyl seat is attractive, large enough for a human butt, and reasonably comfortable. It will press in a bit (air pocket in the seat). If I was getting them again I might choose the wooden seat instead of the vinyl.7. Chair is attractive and as pictured in the ad8. Chair feels solid and strong9. Bottom of chair feet have a plastic stopper on them, so on wood floors you may want to add a piece of felt to prevent scratching.10. Shipping was pretty quick. Again, the box was HUGE. I took the chairs out to move them upstairs.Enjoy!!

We had been shopping for bar stools for quite some time. From as low as $45 ea. (certainly get what you pay for here) as much as $400 ea. We were nearly about to give up when we happened to find these on Amazon. We were skeptical because we had ordered another chair from another online distributor almost solely based on the description indicating these were very sturdy. Bottom line, these turned out to be junk. Fast forward to finding these bar stools. The description said they were sturdy and reviews seem to back up the claim. Still we were skeptical because, comparatively speaking, the price was nearly unbelievable for a "sturdy" chair. What a great surprise!!! These were exactly what we were looking for! Very stylish but at a budget conscious price point. All of the visitors to our newly outfitted in-home tavern as amazed at how comfortable, attractive, and rugged these are. For the money you pay, you CANNOT go wrong here! Hercules series indeed!!!

It seems like some of the stools sustained minor damage before they were even shipped. Although on one box the vinyl seat actually fell out of the protective foam and was probably tumbling everywhere on it's journey here. On one stool, the glide was crammed up the leg, rendering the stool useless until I could remove it. On another stool, there was a small dent with some paint scraped off. Both stools contained tiny tears in the vinyl seat. One seat didn't even have pre-drilled holes.If you can live with potentially getting a stool with one or two of these little defects, it's a very beautiful and sturdy stool. With it's two piece construction, setup was a cinch. I particularly like the design of it and the strong steel frame welding. Seems like they'll last for a long time. Too bad neither arrived in perfect shape.

The bar stools were very sturdy, but the wooden seat was all scratched up.

Just received these. They were packed with great care. Every single part of each chair was wrapped with polystyrene. Not a scratch on them which is a first for me with a piece of furniture. They look even better in person. Solid. Beautiful. A little higher than our other bar stools but a good thing. They come with 4 screws in a red bag. Easy to miss. Don't throw them out with the wrapping. Just line up the cushion with the chair back. Fits right in. Then hold the seat down and screw them in. Maybe have someone else sit on it. No drill needed. There are no screw holes in the seat itself. There are 4 metal eyelets connected to the chair to line up the screws. They go in pretty easily with a regular screw driver. I'm no carpenter for sure.I'll post updates.

Received without any seat cushions. After several calls we received one a week later. More calls but the second cushion never showed. Returned.

These are such great bar chairs!! I cannot believe they are at such a great price. They feel high quality, real metal, and the seats are comfortable. Super sturdy and came all put together, you just screw on the seats. Best of all, it shipped in 2 days. Less than 2 days, I ordered Tuesday night and they arrived Thursday afternoon. I'm so happy right now!

We (Fiance and myself) recently moved into a smaller apartment that didn't have room for a kitchen table, but it did have a breakfast counter with space for two bar stools. He and I looked EVERYWHERE. Nothing looked halfway decent, and everything was $100+ for a single bar stool.These were perfect! I got 2 counter height bar stools I needed and they look great! They were easy to put together, and the feet have white hard rubber which does not scratch our floors! They look beautiful and contemporary, and for a college student the price was phenomenal!My ONLY complaint, is that ONE of the bar stools purchased, isn't completely level so it wobbles with one foot shorter than the other. That is the only reason I am giving it 4 stars, otherwise it was the best decision I could have made!I definitely recommend! If you don't like this particular back, they sell the same bar stools with different designs. It just doesn't get any better!
