Yes they do. But they actually seem to prefer ones from Wilko better.

The birds do not like these fat balls. They prefer the square cake form . Maybe they do contain palm oil and that is why they won't eat them.

Do these have strings to hang them up with?

It's good to buy fat balls that are NOT wrapped in netting because that is dangerous for wildlife once it is put into the rubbish - (like so many fruit & veg in supermarkets) - as well as that the net is usually made of plastic these days. I have a very simple plastic feeder that the birds seem to really like, better than metal ones I've tried (I realise not recyclable but is lasting years so far) - such as Green Jem Plastic Fat Ball Wild Bird Feeder, Easy to Fill and Clean & it's good value at £2.75 (in June 2022) One with a wider lid would be good for more rain protection when the birds are eating, but the fat balls and the birds themselves are pretty much waterproof & this has worked best here :))
