Dog totally ignores it

This is a must have for any breed of dogI have a rottweiler puppy 5mths old and she just stop listening to me and my husband until I got this now she is no longer ignoring us

Our Maltipoo, used to bark A LOT, at most other dogs she came across, leading to many thinking she was aggressive (how can she be, she is 8lb 😉) nonetheless, it became very frustrating when trying to have a walk and made It difficult to socialise her with other dogs.Having chosen this based on the reviews, we have been really pleased with the resultsAfter just the first week her behaviour is massively better, she often even stops with just the sight of the clicker device, rather than pressing it to make the noiseIt is loud so we found ourselves having to explain to other dog walkers why we had it, but it has genuinely taken just a week or so and it Seems like we've cracked it, really do recommend 👍

My dogs completely ignore it

I purchased this as I've took on a 10 month old German Shepherd (now 12months old) as a friend's personal circumstances changed & the dog hadn't had any discipline. The puppy is super strong was barking,pulling & lunging at other dogs on walks,barging out the door this handy gadget has my puppy on the right track

First off, it's really important to say your command before using the device, and to only use it when you really need to. During this stage you do, however, need to be pretty quick on the draw! The aim is for your dog to link the command with the horrid noise, so you ultimately don't need to deploy it any more. This has worked for my dog who likes to roll in other dogs' poo. He now stops immediately when I shout "get up!". I can see the device being useful in other situations when you need an immediate distraction/intervention such as escalating dog aggression. In my experience it works well, but I guess it does depend on the dog.
