EltaMD UV Restore 100% Mineral Face Sunscreen For Mature Skin, SPF 40

This is my second time buying this product. I really like it because it doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy and keeps my skin protected. The tinted formula also helps even out my skin tone, making it perfect for everyday use.

I’ve used this product till I could squeeze out the very last drop, I even managed to pry open the lid to make sure everything was fully out (as you can see), so I feel like I can give a pretty thorough review! Let me start by saying I have oily acne-prone skin, that’s pretty sensitive, and I’m currently on tretinoin so my skin tends to peel. Pros: +Very dewy. +Not drying unlike other mineral sunscreens. +Light coverage that evens out redness. +Wonderful sun protection; I wore this to the beach on my vacation to La Paz (I was out there for hours in the blazing sun) and I didn’t burn! +The pump dispenses the perfect amount of product each time so I never feel like I’m applying too much/ too little. +Didn't break me out! Cons: +Felt hot/stung a bit around my mouth. This is an issue that I thought would go away after a few applications thinking my skin just had to get used to it, but it never did. The feeling would last for about 10 minutes after application and ONLY around my mouth/chin area. It never caused any further problems or irritation but I did find it really odd. I’m thinking maybe I just got a bad batch because I’ve used this product in the past years ago and I don’t remember it feeling hot and tingly. I absolutely LOVE this sunscreen, but I’m afraid to buy another one just in case it feels the same way this one did, especially since the price is pretty steep. That being said, I’m sad to say that I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing, but if your skin isn’t as sensitive as mine I would 100% to give it a shot!

Top of the line for everyday sunscreen. I have very very sensitive skin and I have no issues. I’ve been using it for over a year now. I Would highly recommend for anyone with sensitivity to try.

I LOVE me some skincare and rarely wear make-up or anything with a tint... until I tried this. I needed some new sunscreen and while I wouldn't consider my skin sun damaged I opted for this version as I am getting older. ABOUT: The tint gives you that "your skin but better" vibe as if looks natural yet evens out tone and has a beautiful natural finish to it. PROS: - I don't notice any smell - Lightweight - Natural finish - Easy to apply - Non-greasy CONS: - It does rub off. I went to blow my nose after having applied it a few hours earlier and noticed some tint on the tissue. I've also noticed some tint on my shirt collars on other occasions so just be aware if you touch your face or are looking for something that's sweat and/or waterproof or resistant.

The best sunscreen I have ever used. You can apply under makeup once in a day and go to the pool for at least 4 hours. It doesn’t need to be reapplied. No sunburn or damage.

I like this brand and tried to make the switch to mineral. The white was too white so I bought the tinted version. The tinted was too dark so I mix it with the white and it's perfect! The only issue is that it stains everything!! I don't think I will buy it again because of that.
